“It is clean and most times quiet and looks like the people maintaining it to do care. That is lots of trees providing shed - some trees hudge, some small just like a bush so call and ask ahead. The weather is adjacent but right there fishing is not easy because the shore is sometimes inaccessible and is guarded by trees which make casting impossible. There is water, showers and the restrooms are acceptable.”

“Wonderful views of the river and a family friendly atmosphere. We’ve walked around for a bit and there is a nice easy trail. There are also well used boat launches. Camp sites are relatively large and there is a good space between each camp. Can be a bit HOT, check the weather before coming.”

“Relaxing region with cooling soft breeze and very friendly park rangers. There's quite a lot of open land that are perfect to host gatherings/events on, unlike many other neighboring lakes/beaches that are more heavily populated with trees & bushes & unleveled terrain while condensing people to smaller tight designated areas. This one is pretty open and its layout is a lot like a mini version of Bodega Bay minus the gigantic rocks & slopes & different nature of residence(river-lake vs bay/coastal)”

“I love the mountain walk. It is so beautiful in the green of spring... mama cows with their calves share your landscape. Amazing old oak trees. Wild flowers. I love that vacaville sets aside these areas and you can walk/ hike there. Is not for the tender, injured... walks can be very hilly and the terrain challenging with winter hardened mud holes. Careful hikers will totally enjoy. The views are great. Makes me feel I've gotten away from it all and it's great to be alive :)”

“I needed a pet sitter since I was going out of town for Thansgiving, and did a Google Search to find BeLoved. Susan, the owner, is super responsive and answered all of my questions and got me signed up, even with my nontraditional hours. The sitter took pictures of my kitties and sent them to me, setting my mind at ease during my vacation. The portal and app are easy to use, which makes scheduling and payments easy. In fact, when I scheduled my Christmas trip, I immediately scheduled BeLoved to take care of my kitties again because I knew they'd be in good hands. I haven't traveled as much as I'd like to because of worrying about my pets' well-being, but that's not going to be a future problem unless they go out of business. “Not a bad park. It has a nice larger field to run on. People use it for organized sports. It's between Rancho Del Rey, middle School and a housing area. Very family friendly location. The kids section is on sand. It's pretty safe. I prefer the rubber mats, to keep my little girl safe.. stay away from wood chips.. one actually stabbed me, in a different park. Right through my shoe.. again not from this park.”

“Great ball fields in a great location. There's plenty of shade for anytime of day. I wish this was our home fields. The kids here don't know how good they have it. You can follow a trail to the top of any side to get a bird's eye view. Great for taking pics of the whole field at once. You can set a video and not miss a play without moving. We played tournament and it was purely amazing. I was able to fly my drone around the perimeter to get even better pics. Best location ever in my book.”
