“Amazing hidden camp ground. Good size lots. Great amenities and public spaces. Lots are pretty private. Rangers could be a little more customer service friendly but I guess they have a job to do and you can't fault them for that just occasionally come off as being rude.”

“Santee Lakes offers a little something for the whole family. With the lakes stocked with catfish several times of the year, your angler with have a blast reeling in that trophy. In addition to great fishing, Santee Lakes offers a luxurious camping experience with lakeside cabins that will satisfy your outdoor experience while keeping you out of the elements. The kids will enjoy 2 large play structures and open grass areas for playing their favorite sporting event. The water park open during the Summer will cool down your little ones on those hot east county days. Visit this recreational area soon for a memorable experience that the whole family will enjoy.”

“We camped in one of the lakefront cabins and the other half of our party had a lakefront trailer site; we all thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Great for a family camping trip--especially with young kids. We also enjoyed the paddle boats and the ducks.”

“Beautiful lakes & camping areas. I visited friends staying there. It was hot,but decent breeze. The only caveat was the pesky ants, flies and bees ,while trying to eat BBQ. Recommend some pest control-even the little field mouse was trying to stay ahead of the critters!????”

“It was a very pleasurable trip I stayed in the cabin on the water and my siblings also stayed in the cabins next to me I have other siblings in the cabins on the on the land and it was just the most awesome experience there was fishing campfires pedal boats that went to each cabin to use whenever we wanted Everything is in the cabin as far as cook ware, full kitchen space for 6 to sleep. It was a really enjoyable experience, I would definitely do it again It at first, seemed pricey, but in the end, it was well worth every penny.”

“Good access to lake, pools, and surrounding parks. The RV parking spots are in a parking lot, so it doesn't feel like wilderness, but the hookups are nice for an extended stay.”

“Hey Victor - What years did you grow up around the park? I grew up there in the 80's and early 90's. That park was the hangout!”

“I would give this place 4 stars. It's very open and has a pond. Great for kids and their big imaginations. Has lunch tables and benches for parents. It had bathrooms and a water fountain. I loved it. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because it had no swings.”

“I come here periodically to take my kids to the waiting pool which is open daily from 12 to 4 o’clock. I highly suggest that you bring your own umbrella and maybe a lawn chair and enough water and snacks for your kids to hang out and have fun. There is no umbrella except for where the lifeguards it’s and it’s very tiny. They are pretty strict on what the kids wear so make sure that they are wearing swimming clothes.”

“Excellent park for the community.”

“I come walking here daily in the evening and sometimes in the morning. My mom comes walking here every morning. It's a relatively safe neighborhood and a very clean park, my only complaint would be that at night some of the lights are off and they could be very dark (almost pitch black) in some areas. Overall a very nice park for taking your family and also for exercising as the entire perimeter is surrounded by sidewalks.”

“This place is great we had so much fun with are kids. They have a min farm with animals as a splash area that’s great for the summer”

“Although it's good to see lots of Camellia, the camellia here is different than what I imagine. Camellia should look like a bush, but in this Garden, they force the camellia to grow as high as possible so they become a tree. You only see flowers far above you. It kind of lost its purpose to have this kind of flowers here”

“Some special shape. big Oak trees here. Although it seems to be a forest, many space under the tree with lots of shadows. So it’s really nice place to take a rest. Many Camilla trees can be seen. They are grown like a tree with lots of flowers on top to spare the space out for ground. I don’t like it cuz it makes Camila ugly.”

“Very beautiful get away in the outskirts of the city! If you enjoy natural scenery this is the place to be! There are different gardens to visit and you can spend the whole day walking around. There's also a gift shop and sometimes a seasonal gift shop too. You can bring a picnic but will have to enjoy it outside the garden. They have a picnic area with tables and benches for that. If you don't want to pack a meal there's a couple of food options. The cafe is quick and has vegan options. The snack portions are potentially a full meal! The tacos come with chips too. Have fun!”
