“What's not to like...I dont have a dog but walking by and seeing these guys running around having fun always lightens up the day. As to the park itself I cannot specify any specific issues. I see it has a secure entry to keep the dogs from Running off. Good street parking. And some shade for the parents of the pups...”

“Heritage Lakes Tot lot. In this wonderful Master planned Community Community of Heritage lakes they take the needs of their residents very seriously. The include many parks. large parks, medium parks, baseball diamonds, basketball courts, walking trails , a pool, a kiddie splash park and also a Tot lot. Its great for the smaller children and closer to some of the residents than some of the bigger parks.”

“A beautiful set of trails, overlooking the Tehachapi valley. A range of skill levels will find a trail for them. Don't forget to try the multiple paths from the parking lot to the gate--there are some low-risk, technical routes.”

“Nice little dog park with grass. The dogs were all pretty friendly and my dog had a good time. Unfortunately there were still quite a few owners who didn't pick up after their dogs.”

“It was very nice for my wife and kids first time there. The People who lived in the area was Very Kind! And Helpful. But the bad thing is that there was a lot of trash on the ground as well as in the pond where we Enjoyed Feeding The Beautiful ducks. I wish people would be mindful and put there trash in the trash can. Other than that My Wife And I plan on going there more often.”

“Such a cute place. I attended a farmer's market there. The vendors had nice products for sale. The produce prices were too highly priced. A very nice park to bring the family.”

“This is one of the most serene Memorial Parks I have been to. The grounds are very well kept. The most breathtaking view you'll ever see looking over the valley of the desert. I have visited this location for many veterans day and memorial day events, not to mention I have family buried here. I often see people taking family photos near the main building which is constructed using Spanish influences. The northern grounds have a bridge and pond which make it a beautiful setting for many events. My daughters school held a dance in the main building, which might seem strange, it being a memorial park, but teens were restricted to the main Bldg. There is a beautiful waterfall near the entrance and ponds throughout. One of the coolest things are the family plots. The boulders have family surname's etched in them and they have created sweet little niches for each family area, both near the boulders and other open areas. There are also areas in the walls for urns. This is s stunning and serene setting for a final resting place as well as other events in the main Bldg. and northern grounds.”

“U can't get any closer to the ocean at a camp site. Had a great time, only down side is, NO SHOWERS! I would think to have soap in restrooms but no. I will definitely will go back.”

“Hidden little park. Docents explained some of the history of the property, having been owned by the family who created Sunset magazine as I understood it. A few easy short walking trails. We spotted some deer and wild turkey wandering around the picnic area. Did not bring a picnic but would be a good place for one, perhaps bringing some food from the bakery up the street.”
