“Nice little park. Not very big and there are cute play structures for the little ones. Quite too.”

“Nice new park. Shady options. Large and small dogs in same area. Family friendly. Why do people get so uptight about what others do? It's nice to have a family friendly park as long as parents are aware it's a dog park first (ie if your kid gets knocked down it's on you, not the dogs)”

“Very nice field with some actual stadium seats, but part of the parking lot is very close to the 1st base line (i.e. in foul ball territory) and there's only a porta potty.”

“Secluded trails buried between suburban neighborhoods. Not easy to find but worth a visit, especially for locals. Easy to forget you're surrounded by houses.”

“Quiet meadow tucked away in the middle of a residential area. A stream runs through it. You can fish in the stream. A small waterfall down stream. Not suitable for swimming for multiple reasons. Good for amateur fishing.”

“Really nice hike in the conservation area outside of San Marcos. We did the loop which was much better than the short out and back trail. The wildflowers were abundant and beautiful. The small waterfall was flowing and was very nice. The creek was full and the trail wasnt crowded. Definitely a morning hike as it gets hot.”

“Bonito lugar me gustaría que hicieran una pista para RC cars”
Address: La Costa Oaks, San Marcos, CA 92078, USA
“Great for trail running, mountain biking and hiking. There is very little shade on the trails, so bring lots of water in the warmer months. From the to of Denk Mt. you can see to the ocean and all around the La Costa area. There is a covered picnic table and a bike repair station at the top as well, which is super handy. Keep your eyes open, as there are rattlesnakes in the area, however, I've never had a problem, as long as you respect their distance.”

“Perhaps one of the best and easily accessible places in San Diego County to see poppies in wet years. Would not have known about it had a great friend not have shared. Lots of mountain bikers but everyone gets along on this trail”

“big beautiful park with separate indoor and outdoor soccer fields. two separate play grounds and a short disc golf course. there seems to be multiple parties here every weekend during the warm months, so plan accordingly.”

“Brengle Terrance Park is the perfect spot to spend a day alone or with friends & family. The park is quite large with a range of things to do. Enjoy a romantic afternoon picnic in nature with your significant other, or invite friends for a fun picnic in the sun. I've done both! Look at the botanical garden. Basketball, tennis, baseball, horseshoe pit. Yep, got that! There's even a Moonlight Amphitheater. I always find something new each time I visit. Love the lush gardens, the shade, the nature, the stream, the art!”

“This is great spot. Lovely gardens. Lots of art and features to discover. A $5 donation in requested which you place in a lock box. I believe the garden is not government funded and is volunteer run so I'm happy to contribute to the upkeep. There are a lot of art features which I really enjoyed. I think this would be a great place to bring kids and also nice for a picnic. This is a place to amble along the walks that take you to lovely vistas and different gardens. It is easy to spend an hour or so just walking the trails.”

“I love it here! My kids and I go often!Especially after it rains because it will be very green. During the summer not so much but it's still a nice place to go for walks and small parties.????????”
