Delta Meadows River Park

Address: 17645 CA-160, Rio Vista, CA 94571, USA

Park

“Delta Meadows River Park is a hidden gem located in the heart of the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. The park is home to stunning views of the river, as well as a variety of wildlife and hiking trails. One of the best things about Delta Meadows River Park is the views. The park is located on a bluff overlooking the river, and visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the water, as well as the surrounding wetlands and forests. The views are especially stunning at sunset, when the sky turns a fiery orange and the water reflects the colors of the sky. In addition to the views, Delta Meadows River Park is also home to a variety of wildlife. The park is a popular spot for birdwatching, and visitors can often see herons, egrets, and other waterfowl. The park is also home to deer, coyotes, and other mammals. Delta Meadows River Park is a great place to go for a hike. The park has a variety of trails to choose from, ranging from easy to challenging. The trails wind through the wetlands and forests, and offer stunning views of the river. Overall, Delta Meadows River Park is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. The park has something to offer everyone, from stunning views to a variety of wildlife and hiking trails. Here are some of the things that I liked about Delta Meadows River Park: The views are stunning. The park is home to a variety of wildlife. The park has a variety of hiking trails. Here are some of the things that I would like to see improved at Delta Meadows River Park: The park could use more signage. The park could use more restrooms. The park could use more parking. Overall, I would recommend Delta Meadows River Park to anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors. The park is clean, well-maintained, and has something for everyone.”

“Been going here for over 15 years and love it more each time. This place is a must for anyone seeking fun family atmosphere. What a great place to bring your kids or grandkids to reconnect with nature without electronics. Not just for kids though, Anyone loving to camp, gold pan, throw a fishing line in or just kick back and listen to the water go by will love it. Fern Basin Campground

Address: Forest Rte 4S02, Banning, CA 92220, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“I love this campground. It's a beautiful small campground nestled in the trees in the canyon. It has 22 sites....several first come first serve and then there are reserved spaces. I don't recommend long trailers. One man had a lot of trouble parking his 20 footer. The parking spaces are not really designed for that. It's geared towards tent camping. The bathrooms have a vault toilet in them. Currently there is no water available in Fern Basin Campground due to issues with the tanks. However, water is available at Marion Mountain Campground just up from Fern Basin. I really love staying here. I had no cell signal with Metro and another lady had T-Mobile and no signal. Her friend had one with Verizon. Please enjoy the beauty of the campground and help by picking up your trash and putting it in the dumpster provided. At $10 a night, you can't beat it. Very relaxing and peaceful.”

Pyramid Lake Recreation Area

Address: 43101 Pyramid Lake Rd, Lebec, CA 93243, USA

“We always pass by this lake going to the bay area. This time, after coming from Yosemite, we decided to exit here out of curiosity. Water level is great after all that rain. I was hoping that we can rent jet skis but those are not included on the rental options. We rented a boat instead. Fee depends on the size and hours of use. What we got is $40 per hour and $200 for whole day. Must return boat before 6PM. You can bring your own jet ski or boat. You can fish too. Dogs are allowed on the boat as well. And yeah the sheriff power trips here. I didn't hear him shouting at me till he turned the siren on and used his megaphone. Can't hear him because of the noisy motor. I enjoyed our time here. Probably enjoyed this better than Yosemite.”

“Friendly staff. Woman owned park! It’s a small community and everyone is very friendly. Of all parks I’ve stayed at, I super loved the feeling of community here. The wash room is fast and convenient. Location is amazing. Great ocean breeze. A little ‘old school’ with the keys and garage doors openers, and hand written correspondence, but I actually appreciated all of these touches after a few days there. You really feel like family or a community here. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. ❤️Manager is named Nancy or Linda, I believe. She was such a sweetheart! ❤️❤️ The owner is a very direct and friendly woman — and that is very much appreciated! Love this place!”
