“The campground was very clean and the grounds keeper and store clerk was awesome. This was our first time out in our new to us RV to try things out. Charlie was so full of knowledge and very helpful. If I only 1 issue it was the campers across the way playing music way to loud, but remember I was young once too. Still should have been more respectful to others”

Campground Rv park Lodging Park

“Nice KOA. Easy in and easy out. The pull through sites are narrow but long. The site we got came with a nice patio with table and chairs, weber grill, and fire pit. They also have a nice check out policy where if no one has reserved your site on the day of checkout, you can leave at 3pm for only $30. Otherwise checkout is 11 for RVs. This was great for us as we only had a 1.5 hr drive to our next destination. For those that don't have an RV, or families that have RVs but would like other family members or friends to come in and stay, they offer a variety of cabins and tiny homes near the RV sites so everyone can still hang out. The camp store was nice, has everything you may need. A bit pricey, but what camp store isn't. They have 2 dog park areas, medium sized. Some of the sites have a decent sized dog pen too for your private use. Overall, nice park. We would stay here again.”

Washrooms and laundry were excellent. The dog park was tiny!! Some people had not cleaned up after their pet so it was also dirty!! That was the only downside though.”

“Now this is a simple skatepark done right. You've got your flat bar, manny pad/curb sized ledge, full size ledges and a bank. The downsides are it needs a quarter pipe at the end to maintain the flow, and the T-block needs to be bigger. Lots of shade here too which is nice. #1000skateparkchallenge #cementurians”

Deer Creek Hills Nature Preserve

Address: Latrobe Rd, Sloughhouse, CA 95683, USA

“Utterly magical and enchanting oak savanna grasslands and rolling hills. Awesome sunsets, lots of great trails that wild through gently undulating hills. This land is also very historic and was occupied by the Niesenan tribe and other tribes. Bordered on the north by Deer Creek, there are several other creeks that flow through the area. Gold miners, early pioneer settlers, the Donners, Sutter, cattle ranchers and cowboys all have left their mark and you can feel them today. Check it out!”

Folsom City Lions Park

Address: 403 Stafford St, Folsom, CA 95630, USA

Park

“It's a great park! Plus, it's tucked back away from major traffic so you only have the sounds of the zoo...kids...and the like. The big park is fun for dads to play on. The little park is a bit boring for dads, except when you climb up on stuff that "your not supposed to". The zoo is like 7$ a person....the train is 3$ a person. Just a heads up . The library here is awesome too. All in all, it's a great park! Oh, and it is always clean!”

San Bernardino East Peak

The actual powerhouse is amazing, and the history of how they got everything constructed and shipped is epic. Lots of historical photos. The docents are great - our recent one with a PhD in electrosomethingcrazy was fascinating to listen to and explained the processes that took place when the powerhouse was operational. Very educational.”
