“Another great community park in the Vista Tassajara residential neighborhood. View of Mt. Diablo in one direction and open space in the opposite direction (Great lighting during sunset with the gently rolling hills). There are waste bags for dogs at 2 different places so be sure to pick up after your pets. Plenty of swings and a playground area for the kids.”

“This is a great Park, it's small but it has two-player areas for small kids and large kids. Sitting area for picnic / food area. There's a large field with a baseball backstop. There is also a circular basketball court non traditional. The weather there is generally pretty good. It's in a residential area buy a roundabout so car is generally have to go slow by it. Wheelchair access. And there's a walking path in the back that goes pretty far. All in all a good Park. The only downside there is no swings.”

“Great place. But we know this as the "kiddie beach" The reason for the name is because there are no waves due to the rocks on either side breaking the Waves. Great place to bring your kids however it can get packed during warm weather. There are also showers on the side. this beach can get pretty packed compared to the other side of the rocks which is silverstrand Beach.”

“Beautiful park with so much to offer. Two huge softball fields that are big enough for hard ball, tennis courts, a couple of basketball courts (pickup games on some nights during the week) and a huge soccer field with artificial turf. Picnic areas and playgrounds as well. Left it at four stars because no dogs are allowed. I think Carlsbad is the only city where dogs are allowed in restaurants but not in parks. So if you don't like dogs, bump this up to 5 stars. However, I do see dogs there, and I've never seen it being enforced.”
