“This place is a gem. Great turf with multiple netted goals. I found this place less than a week ago and now I look at it as a second home where I can practice and play the beautiful game with my friends who share the same passion. As meager as this review might be it is mainly intended to show my gratitude to the owner of the facility.”

Villa Montalvo

“My favorite trail in the south bay. It is about 30minutes easy to moderate hike from art center through a shaded winding trail in the red woods. At the end, the whole silicon valley is under your feet! The best part is that this is also my dog's favorite trail, too. There are other trails around the hill for you to explore.”

I parked at the side of the road where 236 (lovely road/driving as well) and Boulder Creek meet. You can also start from the parking at the end of China Grade Road or from Lane-Sunset Trail Camp.”

River Oaks Park

Address: 328 River Oaks Pkwy, San Jose, CA 95134, USA

“There is a general understanding that we'll behaved pups can be let off leash here, but there are times when the pups veer off of the grass. I recommend all dogs under 2 years to at least be equipped with a shock/vibrate/sound collar *just in case.* I will also admit that if there are small children in the park, I tend to leave my dog on leash... They usually aren't there for more than a few minutes. Great park, great people, great puppies. 1% grumpiness.”

River Oaks Dog Park

Coyote Creek Trail, Milpitas

“I've been walking this trail for a little over 10 years; a very nice walk. I must confess a slight tinge of regret that the old Mc Carthy ranch got demo'd and replaced with a shopping center ......”

Arroyo Agua Caliente Park

Address: Gardenia Way and Paseo Padre Pkwy, Fremont, CA 94539, USA

Park

“I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that's looking to play a game of basketball, or anyone who's looking for a nice safe open part for the kids to play at. As you can see the pictures it's a dog friendly business. To be played, nice benches to sit on, unfortunately no bathroom. There's a nice breeze here usually, there's plenty of parking. The grass is really nice and perfect for a picnic. There's also two geocaches nearby. I would definitely recommend this park.”

Sabercat Creek Trail

“Great place to hike and spot rivers, deer, frogs, and mice. And the end of the trail there is a very scenic view of the city.”

Mission San Jose Park

“Located off Mission Boulevard in between Mission San Jose High School and Hopkins Junior high. Plenty of basketball courts, none are level or regulation 10 feet, rims range from 9'6" to 10'2" depending the slope. Nice walking or running fields when not wet. Plenty of space for baseball, softball, soccer, or field sports. Can fly a kite, drone, radio controlled toys, rockets. Nice tennis courts between schools, lighted at night till 9pm. Has a small playground for kids. There is a trail located behind the baseball field for walking, jogging, cycling, take your pet on a stroll. Trail connects to Central Park. Nice park if you want an option besides Fremont's massive Central Park. Has public restrooms.”

Petaluma Marsh

Address: 745 Baywood Dr, Petaluma, CA 94954, USA

“If you're staying at the Sheraton you might as well take advantage of Marsh and the trail that goes around the back. I'm super glad I found this trail to go on walks instead of circling the parking lot.”
