“The park is very clean and well kept. It is used for soccer games Saturday most of the day during the season, and often during weekdays in the evening. It really serves the community well. The bathrooms are very clean and well kept as is the pool which has some fun water features for the children. It us also a great place for exercise and for tennis. If memory serves there is evening lighting till around 10.”

“Clean Campground and RV hookups. My parents came up and stayed a week and they're 41 ft RV with a tow behind and had no problem parking. They got a miniature golf course for the kids a water park in the summertime with fountains and splash stuff to play with but no slides. Staff was friendly and Lake taboo is just down the street for a peaceful day fishing.”

“This is a nice little park in the North Tahoe area. I’ve been here a few times and only in the snow. It’s $5 to park and bring your own gear. I took my daughter and her friends up to play and get some sledding in and I did a little snowshoeing to test out the new bindings (ok so I took a few runs down the hill too). The bathrooms were clean and there was soap in the dispenser.”

“This community park is amazing. They have a mini beach set up at this community that’s so cool. And also good loop to do a brisk walk. Route is not too crowded. But just liked this park. The mini beach entry is only to the north park club members. This park is between the apartments. There lot of shady places where you can sit and enjoy the calmness of the pond and read your book or so.”

“Spacious green park but very windy. We spent a good afternoon here. Not too crowded. There are only a few palms so it doesn’t provide much shade. People walked their dogs or rode bikes here. This quiet park can over look the whole golden gate park bridge and sails in the bay- beautiful!”

“Very nice park. It has play sets for 3 different ages. Love the fact it's up on a hill with a view. Very clean too”

“Was a great place to camp! Wish we had a bear box in place. There is no running water so pack accordingly! Also apparently the fire pit closer to the bigger bathroom is historical and you're not supposed to use it.”

“Nice San Clemente park. Decent play structures for toddlers and grade school age kids. Nice covered picnic area. Bathrooms are usually pretty clean. Decent parking. Baseball field doubles as a nice big open grass area next to the park when there's not a little league game or practice going on. There's a nice walking path that goes up from the park too along a long greenbelt. The only bad thing is there's horrible cell reception here.”

“My wife and I walk this trail several times a week. The wildlife is always a pleasant focal point to the daily trips. Keep an eye out for turtles during the warmer days, and sometimes, if you're lucky, you may see an otter! The birds, especially during this time of year are phenomenal! Now that the train trestle upgrade has been completed, the overall experience has been much better than before when crossing under the railroad tracks, which also add a fun experience to the walk if you're lucky enough to be near when a train crosses.”

“I love this park. It is the park of my childhood. On Fridays during this pandemic I bring my camping chairs, folding table, ice chest and take out food to the park with my friend. It's always so nice to people watch, pet watch, bird watch, and just enjoy the peaceful beauty.”

“Very nice, well kept park with low traffic and a clean younger kid’s playground! 🛝”

“Great trails. From the beginning of the trail, the bushy and tall trees provide plenty of shade and cool air. Not many people on the trails. It's kind of small. As we walk pass under the overpass bridge, the river bank on the left becomes an open space with lots of sunlight and wind. The right side leads to a well maintained, beautiful park with lots of shade. Street parking.”

“Absolutely beautiful, and we didn't come across one other person. A TON of wildlife, so please be careful. Bring water and a snack because even in late winter early spring, the sun can be very warm. Cell service is spotty. Many trail options, so be aware of what one you choose because getting back could be difficult and/or easy to get lost if you're not paying attention.”

“Beautiful, peaceful park with lots of handicapped-accessible parking spaces and walkways. The park includes a basketball court, baseball diamond, large fields for flying kites, and big shady trees for picnics. The barbecue and table area is very nice as well, (although it is roped off/unaccessible temporarily due to the pandemic). Parking is close to the tables so it's easy to unload for parties, picnics, etc. The park also includes a public restroom and a children's playground area. Lots of dog-walkers are there in the evening, which is nice - although a lot of them are off leash, which can be frustrating. The park is located between an elementary school and a beautiful, safe, little neighborhood. All in all, it's a great place to visit.”
