At one point you will be convinced they all have little faces. :-) We also watched a beautiful sunset at Agate Beach and it felt almost magical.”

Bolinas Beach

Address: Unnamed Road, Bolinas, CA 94924, USA

Park

“Bolinas Beach is great to learn how to surf. If you go to the right that is called the patch and if you go to the left that is called the jetty. If you want to get on the beach try and get there a little bit before low tide. If you go at high tide you can get smashed against the sea wall if going yo the jetty.”

Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve

Address: Redwood City, CA 94062, USA

“Loving the off-leash dog area! It is better than our local dog park. Parking is an issue but you can always wait or park by the street. A restroom is available to use - it is okay, clean and tolerable to use. Bring your poop bag and dispose it properly. Don’t leave it in the park. No trash service here too.”

Peacock Gap Park

Address: Peacock Dr, San Rafael, CA 94901, USA

Park

“Great local park - a real hidden gem unless you live right in the neighborhood, then you should be here all the time! Big grassy field, playground for the kids, picnic tables, benches and tennis courts ... what more could you need? Pretty good balance between kids playing morning and afternoon, by 4 or so it definitely becomes a dog park - that whole 'dogs on leash' thing is more of a slogan than a rule that gets followed ;) Great gathering place to get to know a few neighbors. Project is underway by the Peacock Gap HOA to replace the benches and tables (it's a city park, but money is tight and there are other priorities) - come on down and enjoy! (I'll see you there after 4pm with my pups)”
