There is an open beach shower on a concrete slab, and plenty of potable water. There were big shade trees over most of the camp sites. BJ01 I think, is closest to the Catalina trailhead from Avalon. We would give five stars but the outhouses were pretty stinky and full of flies.”

The air here is crisp and moist. The trees are elegant and magnificent. The view is awe inspiring. The hills are rich in detail, and the stream is a natural masterpiece in of its own right. Even the man made and woman made structures here give off an authentic vibe. I highly recommend this trail because it truly has it all.”
