“So beautiful back here & secluded. Quiet, serene. No bathrooms in sight so bring something to "go" in or you're goin behind a bush. It does get VERY frigid back here as well, so if you're camping be sure to bring tons of firewood and blankets. It snows a ton back here too. It's a nice spot to bring the kids to play with or without snow. Does get crowded by individuals who like to go off-roading. Would be a beautiful hike back here too. I would honestly say the only downside is no bathrooms. The road to come in is a tight squeeze and sometimes someone has to pull up on the side wall to let someone through, or just reverese. Depenxs on the size of both vehicles and if there is a train of cars behind one or the other. Really great place, though. I would definitely love to come camping here for a week or so if we had the time & would recommend it to anyone.”

“Great sports park overall in San Juan next to the Boys and girls club. 4 Soccer and 3 baseball fields, lots of recreation area. Kids out getting some well needed exercise and time away from the video games is great. Also the occasional fair will setup here lots of space.”

“Beautiful nature trail. Went in January after rain and beautiful sounds of streams along the walk. We walked part of the Red Rock Canyon trail but didn't continue the second half mile portion since it seemed a bit more treacherous and we didn't have the proper shoes but great, peaceful nature hike!”

“The saddle between Timber and Telegraph peaks is an absolutely beautiful place. In one direction, you have views toward Telegraph Wash and Icehouse Canyon. In the other direction, you can look out over the Mojave. The place is filled with various pine trees and low-growing manzanita, which evoke a sense of banzai trees. Because few hikers do the Three T's (most stop at Timber), this is a great place to enjoy some serene solitude.”

“Grassy green fields!”

“I was happily surprised with how the fields had numbers on each goal, so you knew you were at the correct field. And they have a site map as you come in the parking lot so you know where your field is. There is way more parking than needed, but this is a great thing. The only reason I didn't give five stars is, I didn't use a bathroom to tell how clean it was, or try the snack shack.”

“I brought my twin 11 year old kids here for one reason and one reason only : the Chino skate park. This is one of the few skate parks that we've been to that allows scooters. It was a lot of fun and my boys enjoyed zipping down the multiple bowls and flying along the straight aways. Very clean and well maintained. Parking is very close to the skate park. Also there are very clean bathrooms at the park by the baseball fields which are barely 100 yards from the skate park. Plus there are lots of trashcans and I mean lots, 26 to be exact in and around the bathroom and baseball fields and bleachers. Noticed because there's so many but also noticed because so many parks don't have enough trash cans and I get tired of looking for one when I'm out with the kids and I don't allow them to litter. Park is visible off Edison near Central and there's plenty of shade if u want to pull up a chair and sit in the grass as I did. We brought our own water as most people do hit there are water fountains at the bathroom and one by the skate park and another one in the parking lot area. Park is really beautiful and lots of green belts to run around on. We will definitely be back!”
