On a clear day from Sweeney Ridge, you can see to the Pacific ocean, to SF, across to the East Bay and South to San Jose! The 1.7 mile climb from the Sneath Lane gate up to Sweeney Ridge can be challenging if you aren't in good shape, so take your time, as needed.”

Lake Forest CA

Address: 21076 Questa Verde, Lake Forest, CA 92630, USA

Park

“Lake Forest is a suburb in the Southern tip of Orange County. Lake Forest has over 26 parks and this is a huge commitment for a city of only 85,000 people. Some of the best trails here are Serrano Creek trail as well as the trails that dot Serano Creek Park. You will find a good selection of restaurants and shopping in the Foothill Ranch area as well as a multiscreen theater in the same area. For sure Irvine and neighboring Mission Viejo have more to offer and are more cosmopolitan, however Lake Forest is a nice quaint community with an abundance of trees and two or three private man made lakes.”
