Pelican Point Picnic Area #4, Crystal Cove State Park

Address: Newport Coast, CA 92657, USA

Park

“This place is pretty cool and not crowded whatsoever. The only thing is that when they say the trail down the beach is steep... they're not kidding around. Hauling all your stuff down is a piece of cake. Hauling it all back up is an entirely different story. It's a nice beach but dont expect to swim, body board, or boogie board. There's a bunch of rocks that are in your direct path. Overall, great place recommended by a family member.”

Crystal Cove State Park Moro Campground

Campground Park Lodging

“Great views and well maintained. The native vegetation has matured... much more private now compared to a few years ago...check in is at 3 p.m... rules are enforced and it is all good. This is a very sought-after place to camp in California. Park fills up six months in advance... 30 campsites for dry camping... 30 sites have partial hookups... you will not be disappointed.”

Settlers Park

Park

“Settlers park is a great park to go to for family get togethers, lunch, volleyball, little kids, basketball practice, soccer games and practice. The playground is mostly for little kids, except for the cool sideways rock wall. It has a swing set, an interesting and very fun "road" for you child to go on around the park, and they can even park their veichle. I reccomend this park.”

Candlestick Point State Recreation Area

Address: 1150 Carroll Ave, San Francisco, CA 94124, USA

“A small little park down bear Hunters Point. The facilities are minimal but well kept. The park has a beautiful shoreline with views across the water to Oakland and Alameda. Once a year, during the great herring spawn, you may even be graced by a shore full of fish people casting their throw nets to catch the great schooling fish. Highly recommend taking a visit to this sleepy park during a sunny day.”

“Gosh, if you'd like to take your family outdoors for a breather & great view, I highly recommend this place. My family and I had a blast. Just try getting there early as there's no parking. You kind of have to park alongside the road. Not to steep of a walk down, depending on where you park. It's free, but no bathrooms or BBQ pits and stuff. So, pack some sandwiches and stuff. :)”

You get to come and rehearse once before the actual wedding. Your wedding vendor must all have proper licenses to work on site. Parking is very limited and it’s a first come first serve basis. It’s quite majestic to have your wedding under nature’s canopy, with a creek right behind you. Wedding guests sits on benches made from trees. You have two hours for the whole process, ceremony, cleanup, and photos. If you want to take photos on the site, you have to pay a little extra.”
