“This was an awesome place! Very beautiful place for a hike, or anything else. You can get some awesome shots here. I'm sure it's beautiful during the wet season - I can't wait to see it :) It's fairly clean too!”

“Amazing jumble of rock formations. Nice little loop hike. I will warn visitors that have footing issues and or ankle/knee/hip issues that there are step and difficult steps on occasion and having a willing partner to aid in a couple of places is a good idea. Other than that, yes - a relatively easy hike, though not flat. So worth it! Look at the same formations from different angles and see the awesome changes. Go when it's cool out!”

“This is a private members-only club. It is one of the first social organized charitable clubs of America. Wait before the Shriners or the Moose lodges or the Elks Club. This was the very first Club on the West Coast it is the second in the United States. Is called the Club Red Man and The Wigwam Lodge. Is the man side of it. The women are called the Pocahontas Club. the club was formed back in there early Seventeen hundreds to honor the red Indians that helped the white American colonist set up the Tea Party raid in Boston Massachusetts. The Indians gave them cost UMES so the British would think it was Indians that were raiding the ships and dumping the tea into the Boston Harbor. So they started the Red Man Club for the American colonists men. You do not have to be Indian to be in this club! It cost $300 a year to become a member. They collect for Charities and do fundraising and give thousands of dollars worth of food and gifts during Christmas and Thanksgiving. To needy families in San Pedro. This used to be a woman's old Library back in the 19 1930s. It looks like a log cabin inside and it is well preserved. It could also be rented out as for parties or weddings. They have many events year-round open to the public. They are celebrating Cinco de Mayo a week earlier on April 28th with a Live Mariachi band authentic Mexican food and an open bar. I believe the cost is 15 or $25 to get in. They do a Patrick's Day open to the public dinner and music event. They do a Super Bowl party open to the public. You have to look on their website or drive by and you will see banners out. Also every Wednesday night almost every Wednesday night they have open mic night where they sell beer and hot dogs but it is free to come in to perform or be an audience between 6 and 9 p.m. every Wednesday except during Christmas holidays.”

“They do a good job keeping the park clean. The geese and ducks look pretty content near their pond (although the water is a very unnatural green tone, the geese and ducks don't seem to mind). They have some tennis courts and two volleyball courts for use. Would love to being my daughter here once she's old enough to fully enjoy it.”

“Road was closed from this point forward due to snow. We parked off and played around in the snow though. Parking was easy and they were in the process of ploughing the rest of the road.”

“This is by far my second rated hiking spot in California and the first place Calabasas. This place has the relaxing view of the tones of the ocean and on top of that the place is very well kept up by means of trash and parking lot access. If you want a beautiful photo of the view on the top portion I would suggest a 360 photo. The nature walk the way down the hill toward the biloing trees at the end is calming and breath taking experience for me and probably you as well. Now there is one lil scene I thought was lovely was the bird house in the trees at the final destination took a photo of it and it came out perfect.”

“The only problem I have had is unleashed dogs. I take my dog for a walk daily. There is a black and white American pitbull and a white standard poodle whose owners allow their dogs off leash. No matter how well they are trained, the rules are dogs must be on a leash. This park is next to Goldenview school where lots of small children play.”

“Nice place. Great ocean view. But the city has blocked the stair way with a fence that someone has moved on the one side. So if you go use caution. The side of the stairs are being washed away by erosion. So it would be nice if the state, county or city could fix it. But the walk down is still nice. Views from above are nice. Family picnic would be great just watch the little ones by the side.”

“About 2 mile hike. Nice little secluded campsite. Best site is far backside of campground, a little hard to find but well worth its location.”

“At the end of this hike I was relaxing at the bottom of the falls , and when I looked up I saw a bear looking at me. It was on the ridge on the left of the falls about 30 feet up. It was trying to find a way down so I took off! No point in me waiting for it”
