The environment creates a relaxing place for a sunset, and local shops and eateries are only a short walk away. “Excellent hike. NOT FOR THE OUT-OF-SHAPE. Very steep and beautiful views. Open air. Far enough away yet close enough to still get to from LA. Awe-inducing relics of the past. Over 100+ years of historic landmarks, visages of a railroad and a resort preserved. Well, marked at the top of the Echo Mountain Trail.”

“Love this park! Reminds me of my childhood with the old school playground and giant caliper seen in the ET movie! Has about 5 regular swings and 2 swings for little kids. Also there is a basketball court above on the hill. Perfect get away to feel like your out of the “valley” or if you just need green in your life. You will see people and dogs.”

“This is a great place to hike. There are plenty of camp grounds available and shaded trails. You will need a wilderness pass for the parking and be aware that the beginning of the trail is a steep drop into a canyon, which means its a steep uphill at the end. Our 7 year old made it up with his pack and plenty of encouragement. Bears are active in this area as well.”

“Wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it worked out exactly the way it should have. Would have liked to have had a little bit more lighting, it needs more close up tables so that old folks like me can get to the tables more easily than walking uphill. It's a beautiful little part if you're an extremely active person. Not a place for seniors to go. Things are too far away from the parking lot.”

“Nice, large park with a little something for everyone in the family to enjoy and get active! Tucked away, almost a hidden treasures, in the middle of a casual family neighborhood, this park is adjacent to a school playground and is accessible from three different streets, each ending in a different cul-de-sac directly situated on a park entrance, on all three sides of the park. There are basketball courts, playgrounds, winding sidewalks perfect for little cyclists and scooter-riders to explore, picnic tables, large, open grass areas, trees, a public restroom, and outdoor exercise equipment for teens and adults. Each area has a seating area for onlooking parents or others who just want to take a load off. It's just plain cool.”
