“Great trailhead for a quick, effective workout. Steep climb and keeps climbing till the top. From there you can continue on as long as your legs can get you, do a nice loop, or head back on down to the entrance.”

“This is the southern most point of the backbone trail that covers 69 miles from Malibu up to Oxnard California. This trail head starts in the Will Rogers Historic Park. To find the marker walk North through and passed the Will Rogers Historic Museum Pasto large Greenfield and the markers located near a horse training Arena. It looks exactly like the pictures posted above, and being in Southern California you'll probably get the same beautiful sky as I did the first time I was here. Enjoy the hike!”

“Really nice. Dog friendly, mostly shaded, very clean. Parking is a pain, since you have to find something in the street, but it's free. And there's no waterfalls or clear trail loops, but it's still quiet and peaceful. A good local hike if you live in Brentwood.”

“A Palos Verdes gem. Beautiful hike through the canyon. The nature center organizes walks for all you bird watching lovers as well as nature lovers during the day. And full moon hikes once a month at night. The nature center itself displays many species of local animals and critters ( and reptiles). Great place for the kids. They even have story telling time there a few times a year. ”

“A great place to hike. There are a couple different trails and a fire road that goes for miles. There are even trails that shoot off from the fire road. Great views of the Santa Clarita Valley. One of the trails is pretty East and goes way back far into a canyon with waterfalls that appear after a few good rains. I just hike that trail today with 4 kids ranging in age from 5 to 9 years old.”

You can see to the West all down to the ocean and to the east you can see Santa Monica all the way to downtown Los Angeles. The west side of prochain of the Temescal Trail Loop is more exposed to the Sun and when you turn on the Canyonside there's more shaded areas for your hike.”
