“I came to support the 2nd Annual Great Pumpkin Patch. My son had a great time, lots of pumpkin to choose from. They had a giant slide, bean bag and hoola hoop games. Glad I came across this online.”

“Such a beautiful park with lots of space/grassy areas to run and play! Great play structures with lots of plastic rock climbing and an overall climbing theme. The bathrooms are literally some of the cleanest I've ever seen! All new stainless steel dividers and toilets with soap dispensers, two sinks, and an air hand dryer. There's also a small baseball field here which rounds this park off nicely with plenty to do and lots of space! Overall a pleasure to bring his of all ages here. There's medium sized parking lot, but not very many paved trails, so don't bring the bicycles, tricycles, scooters, and roller skates/ blades.”

“Nice clean visitor center. Interesting garden area. Usually very quiet there - not many people know about this place, I guess. Its about 1/2 mile away from the Baldwin Hills lookout by trail.”

“Good dog walking but do keep an eye out for coyotes. We (Roxy the Finnish Spitz) and I do the portion from Paradise Canyon School to the Green Lane access. Some interesting house are on view and, in summer, lots of hummingbirds.”

“First time hiking this part of trail. Usually begin @ park mid-La Tuna Cyn but it's still closed from fire damage in Spring???? Mostly fire roads but you can pick up a few trails & make hike as easy, moderate as desired. Encountered no difficult trails in this 2-3 mile section. Plan to return for longer hike, make trek over to Wildwood in Burbank soon! Friend took photos, will post those later!”

“Best compost bin, hands down. Smells like gourmet garbage with artisanal dirt I presume (this is Beverly Hills, after all). Sturdy wooden container with sanded down edges. I'd heard so much about this bin from folks around town, so glad I braved the trek to check it out. If you are in the area, this is the only bin to see! ”

“Very nice park! Multiple basketball courts with lights that work really well at night. There is soccer field, baseball field and plenty of tennis courts. There's also indoor gym! Water fountains are located throughout the park and easy parking along the outskirts of the park. The park had good balance of people, did not need to wait for anyone to play. Overall A+”

“It's a very good trail to challenge yourself, the first 15 minutes are very difficult, after that it is pretty good to enjoy the views. If you are lucky like me you may see some deers and there are a lots of squirrels,,,the trail takes you to the San Gabriel peak,,,,take a walking stick with you, it's very useful,,”

“My girls and I came to do a little hiking between soccer games. We each love to hike and take in the scenery nature has to offer. We were disappointed with this park and the trails it offered. The park is beautiful and great for birthday parties, photo ops, the play grounds and picnic areas however we were hoping for water we could put our feet in or rocks we could walk across or climb. Trails here are for beginners or those who just want a nice day outside. The facility is clean, several restrooms and plenty of parking. The entry fee is $6 and the visitor center was closed. The humming bird garden was the highlight of our trip.”

“Really cool area of Griffith Park. The old zoo from the 60's loves here. You can see old animal enclosures, cages, stone walls and much more. Also a really nice hike if you take it all the way back to the Griffith Park carousel parking lot Takes about an hour, but worth it. Just watch out for the resident mountain lions!”

“Personally, after hiking the Henry Cook Lookout Point, I wasn’t too impressed by this Brand trail. Don’t get me wrong- it’s a good trail that has a great view- but the big payoff view takes too long to get to. I was looking for a shorter trail that gave me the exact same thing that this trail did. Would recommend for more avid hikers with a lot of time on your hands.”

“An Official Hiking Review: A decent hike that doesn’t take too long and offers a spectacular view! Would highly recommend this destination. We rate this trail medium difficulty.”
