“We enjoyed this park. Lots of: - sand areas with digging cranes - slides - swings - play houses”

Rose Haven Heritage Garden

Address: 30592 Jedediah Smith Rd, Temecula, CA 92592, USA

Park

“It is winter right now so I didn't get to see all the beautiful colors of the roses but it was a nice walk nevertheless. I saw one porta potty. Not sure if it's for workers or spectators. Nice place to take pictures and relax. Not a very big parking lot. The gentleman that was taking care of the garden was really nice and informed me that they grow vegetables too. The workers here are volunteers so the only money they get is if you make a donation to maintain the garden.”

Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park

Address: 7360 W Lake Blvd, Tahoma, CA 96142, USA

Park

“Nice place for a hike. We walked to lily pond. Easy walk fairly level. Nice sign along the way referring to Olympic winter games of 1960. Probably good to do on snowshoes with fresher snow. But today it was very easy to do on normal hiking shoes. There are multiple signs and shortcuts.”

Mission Springs PCT Trail Camp

Address: Angelus Oaks, CA 92305, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Beautiful place to camp with a cool, clear, running spring. I backpacked in from Hwy. 38 and saw a number of Pacific Crest Trail thru hikers who also spent the night there. There are some metal horse corals, a few with shade and a gravity fed water trough on the others side of the campground. I came back and stayed 3 nights in July and there was still water in the springs and a lot of wild flowers everywhere.”

Glenn Houde Park

Address: 9759 Club Park Dr, Elk Grove, CA 95757, USA

“Wow! This place has a lot to offer. Numerous baseball and soccer fields, a playground, and even a place for kids to play in the water.”

Seily Rodriguez Park

Address: 5707 Lexington Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90038, USA

Park

“I enjoyed the place immensely. Kids playing with adults, dribbling a soccer ball. Beautiful spot. I want newer water fountains for drinking...for me and everyone else. I'd like and demand an update on the exercise equipment, it is needed. I want it for the community; I Jonathan Mark Ward am part of this community. I have spoken.”

Bill Gray Park, Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District

Address: 450 N Lake St, Hemet, CA 92544, USA

Park

“This is a great park to hang out in or walking your dog around plus there’s plenty of shade to get out of the sun on those miserable hot days we have too often in Hemet and my dog loves it here”

Emerald Glen Park

Address: 4201 Central Pkwy, Dublin, CA 94568, USA

Park

“Went here for the first time today around 3:30. Not too many people. Lots of seating and grass and shade. Parking lot is very small but parking behind The Wave was still very close to walk to the park. Restrooms are onsite and garbage cans. Big sand box, the two big slides on the rocks were a hit. The small play area for the little ones was helpful to have since the big kid play structures were definitely not safe for them. The rocks structure is a bit slippery so definitely have your kids wear some good shoes.”

Frogtown Trail

Address: Grand View Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90031, USA

Park

“Great trail running area in the middle of downtown Los Angeles. Very pleased to have found this area while on vacation and staying in the bustling city. This park gets up a bit higher than the surrounding area so the provided views are great. The trail is semi flat as it winds around the various hills. I wouldn't say any of it is really difficult but some parts wind you around away from an easy exit. You just have to be aware of the loop or path you are about to traverse onto. I did love the graffiti on the rocks. It added a nice LA flare to the trail. Lots of little parks in the surrounding area to explore!”

South Weddington Park

Address: 10600 Valleyheart Dr, Los Angeles, CA 91604, USA

Park

“Beautiful park near Universal studios and Fwy 101, this is the place for walking, jogging or just lay down and relax. The park is quiet, clean and green, plenty of shade for hot days. There are about 60 parking spaces and a restroom here.”

Nimbus Flat State Recreation Area

Address: 7806 Folsom Auburn Road, Folsom, CA 95630, USA

Park

“First time here. Just bought some kayaks and was looking for a nice place to paddle. This place had good reviews. When we arrived, we realized we forgot our paddles at home. The rec center was open and was able to rent us a paddle for $3 for the day. Staff was kind and helpful and the facilities (boat launch/restrooms/rec area) were nice and clean. Will fending be going back. There's also sandy areas for kids to play in the water”

Paso Picacho Campground

Address: 13652 CA-79, Julian, CA 92036, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Nice campground. Stayed at sites 46 +49, nice adjoining sites. Facilities are good and well maintained. Showers are 2 min/token, 2 tokens/$1, with a machine outside the showers. Camp fires were allowed while we were there but was told they do ban them based on conditions. Many of the sites toward the back of the campground had steep slopes so be aware. It was VERY buggy, repllent is a must. Squirrels were aggressive and plentiful. State parks employees rounded frequently and enforced rules. We had a great time and will return.”

Golden Hill Monument 金山華人石碑

Address: 2005 Hillside Blvd, Colma, CA 94014, USA

Park

“Don't waste your time looking around for another service. Confidently go ahead and work with Golden Hill Monument cause they give you the best price and service. They truly care about you and your feelings and are willing to accommodate your time and even money limits and constraints. I worked directly with Henry in September 2021. They make the process easy and hassle free. Henry was not even in rush to get the money, he delivered the marker to the memorial park and sent me a picture and then when I followed up about the rest of the payment he gave me the option of sending him a check by mail. When we told the memorial park that Golden Hill Monument is our vendor, they also mentioned that Golden His is a reliable vendor and they work with them often. Some time around Christmas I sent a picture of the market to Henry to ask him how I could fix a minor scratch on the picture (I was just looking for some advice like a special marker or something) and what he did was he arranged to have the photo replaced to a brand new one without even me following up on that. So, I would highly recommend Golden Hill Monument, and I should say I did check 10+ vendors before I decided to work with them, and I would choose them again. Thank you Henry and the team!”

Phoenix Large Dog Park

Address: 9050 Sunset Ave, Fair Oaks, CA 95628, USA

“What a wonderful dog park. Several large areas and a couple small areas for the dogs to run and play. Water pools in each area for dogs to cool and tennis balls everywhere. The crowd seemed very attentive to their dogs and no incidents while I was visiting. Very clean park and well maintained. So grateful to have found this park to bring my shepherd.”
