“Best walking/biking trail in the city limits. Regularly see Great Blue Herons, Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets. Cormorants, Canadian Honkers, Mallards and Wood Ducks. Almost always spot turtles sunning themselves. Saw a beaver once in the winter. Usually has some other humans enjoying the trail, but it never feels overly crowded. Weekday mornings are definitely the time to go.”

“Nice marina/park to spend some time to relax and enjoy the view of the bay, admire the yachts, see people fish at the fishing pier, and stroll along the Bay Trail. There are plenty of parking spaces, a few picnic tables with barbecue grills, and a public restroom.”

“Little but spacious park. Not too much ppl were there when we went. So a good place to have a quiet, relaxed hour or so. There's a picnic area with sold 4 adjacent tables and a few more picnic tables scattered around the area. A small play area is at this location as well. We went to practice archery. So a good park. And clean.”

“It was such a nice & clean place for a break. Kids had fun! You can feed the animals, they have this huge tree house, slides, Tesla electric charging station. We might stop by on our way back to get some wine and cheese. 🙂”

“I went there today alone just to remember the days when all of my children were very small still and we would play day after day here with all their little friends after school. We always had a blast. We have had multiple birthdays parties here and us parents would always plan some cool end of the school year party for our kids group and basically anyone who wanted go join us which was always a lot of other children. We love this place. I love this place! It's clean, safe and lots of fun for everyone including your pets who have tons of grass to play tag on with the kids. Our dog always had so much fun playing with the kids here and it was always a good way to wear down some of their natural energy! I highly recommend this place for family's big, small, your or not!”

“Super cool trail and well marked. We did about 6.4 miles and it took 2 hours to complete. The blooms right now are amazing. According to the map it loops around. Not sure though. According to some other hikers once you get higher up the path it isn’t so well maintained. Maybe next time. And don’t forget your adventure pass or $5.00 cash. Luckily we met some really cool people in the parking lot that let us borrow cash. We repaid him via Venmo 😉”

“Had a fun time with our grandaughter, but sadly there is always young thugs that ruin the atmosphere. There were about 6-8 young teenage boys hanging out at the street by their cars. When they left the park they also left behind all of their fast food garbage. What pigs!! Their parents probably still clean their rooms for them. 😞”

“This is a VERY special place that is full of beauty and love! My daughter and I stumbled on this place. We were driving by and saw a sea of roses!!! We asked if we could look at them, and it turns out it is a labor of love for the public to enjoy. Doesn't the world need more lovely people like that? :) No one is making you pray, in case anyone is wondering. ;) But you will be feeding your Soul whether you mean to or not. This place is so beautiful and peaceful. The photos don't do it justice. The owner kindly offered that people can cut ONE rose to take home. You can look up their Facebook to see more if you like. He also has a lending library, which is fantastic. I just realized that I never did this review. We visited way back in June of 2020. But we drove past today and it all looks as amazing as ever. Thanks for sharing this beautiful place with us! You are making the world a better place!”

“I've been here a few times over the years. It's a beautiful lake, nice campground. No showers, no cell service. I stayed for 6 days this week and had great weather and was able to move to a site next to the lake. Campground host named Les was very nice and helpful. Thank you!”

“Good family park in the middle of the neighborhood. Not sure why a huge tree was cut. Hope they preserve trees especially in the city to preserve the green cover”

“Federal campground and beach so your day STATE park pass will not work here. 🙄 Place is clean and quiet and beautiful. We love this beach and is worth the $10 entry. Easy access no hiking and beautiful water. Parking is decent but can get full I'm peak times.”

“Boca was a great experience! We stayed at site 16. It had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, perfect distance from the bathroom, and an amazing spot for stargazing! It’s close to the highway, about 5-7 mins. I didn’t have much phone service at the sight with Verizon, but my partner did with AT&T. I definitely recommend for a quick getaway or family vacation!”

“Margot is great with pets and very reliable. She takes care of our dog and our 2 cats when we are away on vacation and I have nothing but good things to say about her. She was accommodating and always responsive, she sent us a pic of our pets every time she came over so we knew exactly when she was there and how our pets were doing. I highly recommend her!”

“Strenuous but beautiful hike. Road to trailhead parking is really bad. Looks like the flash floods damage it but is passable. I wouldn't recommend low profile vehicles to try to make it through. Low profile vehicles maybe should park at Hatchery and the 38 at the entrance. This hike starts at a slow incline and will get your heart rate going. Your breaks are when trail goes down and then you must go up again. I recommend hiking poles for the down hill back down. Hardest switchbacks are a mile before you summit. Great time to catch your breath and hydrate. Views are beautiful from every corner. Old Greyback looks stunning from many places on your way up. Watch out for falling trees. Yesterday 9-4-22 the trail was clear on the way up. On the way down, half a mile before the trailhead, an old tree fell and was now blocking the trail. Had to hop over it. If you're looking for a challenging hike and solitude, this is the hike. Carry plenty of water on this hot days. The flow of the creek at the beginning of the hike is low.”

“Love the green grass but this park is busy. Great trail in the back of the park. If you want a quiet run, this isn't the place. Highly busy all day”

“We had a good visit tonight! All the humans were friendly and the dogs were ready to play!! There was minimal litter, the garbage cans weren't overflowing, and there were poop bags available if we needed them! I love that there's a small dog area for my 12lb girl who is sometimes shy around big dogs.”
