“Today Sunday I was very impressed that this park actually is full filing it's purpose, family recreation! It is so comforting to see entire families spending time together and to see all those kids and teenagers exercising doing sports out with the fresh air while having fun is priceless. One million respects for the moms and dads that invest in their kids. The park is nice clean people relaxing on the gras under the tree shade, kids playing baseball there's a running track. My only beef is that there are no restrooms!!! Other than that, please take time to enjoy an afternoon with your loved ones at the Jerome park. You'll appreciate the nature and company of family which are free and in my opinion the best firm of recreation!”

Drove down here from Temecula on a whim to try to entertain our cabin fevered 2 year old. Good thing the Safari Park is open! The train and park looks fun though! We will be back upon confirmation that the train is up and running!”

“Neighborhood park with a dog friendly atmosphere. Offers more space than might first be expected, but this is not a big park. There is no children’s play set, but rocks and trees I see families enjoying for their shade. My biggest downside has been the gopher holes. Just don’t step in one while looking up at the hawks that also call the park home”

“I called Sunshine Lawn & Garden Service to find and fix a water leak in my front lawn. They quickly located the leak and made the repair without having to dig my yard up too much. After the leak was fixed they backfilled the holes and carefully placed back the pieces of grass that they saved when they were digging. The final result was a clean front yard that you could hardly tell was worked on. They were very respectful of my property and had great communication with me the entire time. I would definitely use again and recommend Sunshine Lawn & Garden Service to everyone!”

“This is a cute little park tucked behind a sound barrier wall for Lawrence Expressway. There are about 4 concrete tables, 3-4 park benches and a medium sized playground. There is also a relatively flat grass field. People were celebrating a birthday, and locals come to walk their dogs there. Everyone seemed friendly, and there were about 15-20 cars there on a Sunday when the weather was a bit chilly. I bet this place gets crowded when the weather is nicer, then again, it's not a super pretty park, so perhaps it doesn't get much more crowded. Good to know it exists, but it certainly isn't an amazing park.”

“Nice park, gated entrance, spots were level cement with full hookups. The spots are a trifle short for a large RV, but we managed. Looks like nearly the entire park is pull-through, and a lot of semi-permanent residents. There's not much to Bakersfield, but it's a good place to hunker down for a day or a few, or if you work there for the long-term.”
