“My mother had a clogged toilet and tub. I looked up local plumbers and found Cesar. I text his number and he replied quickly. I explained the problem and he gave me a quick price quote and ETA. Not only was he on time, he came on very short notice. He used his auger and cleared our sewer drain pipe. He charged us only $130 which is EXTREMELY reasonable. My mother was so please she gave him a tip. He was licensed by the CSLB and has been a licensed plumber for over 10 years. I highly recommend this company. Quick, punctual, knowledgable and honest. Professional and he is bilingual which was great for my mom who speaks Spanish. I forgot to leave a review two weeks ago when he provided Services. We will use him again for any plumbing issues. “Short Version: It was a no brainer decision to choose TrenchFree for our sewer lateral replacement. +No inspection fee +Most competitive quote among 6 competitors +Best (lifetime) offered warranty +Price included the required building permit +Every interaction was professional and timely (Thanks Felipe and Jose!) Long Version: At the end of 2020 we discovered that our sewer lateral had rotted through in the middle of our yard, and also had major root intrusion under the sidewalk causing monthly backups. The initial quote from the plumbing company that performed the unclogging was nearly $20K for a full replacement out to the main. I immediately started shopping around for competing quotes, including paying $400+ dollars total in inspection fees to various competitors just for the privilege of receiving a quote. My search led me to the TrenchFree website which is very professional and gave me the initial impression that they would probably provide a quote at the higher end of the spectrum, but that was not the case. Felipe at TrenchFree provided a free inspection and an economical quote for a partial replacement of the upper asbestos sewer lateral that had rotted through the bottom, and the middle clay sewer lateral that had major root intrusion. Their price included the building permit, with a quoted per hour price for sourcing an additional encroachment permit that may be necessary. They were pretty backed up (no pun intended) around the end of 2020 but provided a realistic time estimate for sourcing the building permit and starting the work once the contract was signed. An added bonus was that now that we were TrenchFree customers if our lateral clogged again before replacement, they would come out and clear it for free. Jose stayed in contact and called me once their schedule opened up and the permit was sourced to begin the work. The work was completed over 2 days, one full day for the lateral replacement and one morning for the inspection and finishing touches. The crew lined up the encroachment permit, but was able to complete the job without digging up the sidewalk or pavement so they cancelled the permit and didn't even bill for the time they spent sourcing it (saving me $1000+). After payment I was provided a copy of the building permit for my records. Our yard is semi-landscaped and is in the same condition as before the work was performed, which is impressive given the amount of dirt that was excavated. As a homeowner the entire process was seamless and the TrenchFreee team made it as positive and experience as possible. I highly recommend this company!”

“What a great experience. I live in Charlotte, NC and have a rental in Santa Clara. One of the problems of owning so far away is that contractors can price gouge. I needed to replace our hot water heater and called the large franchise businesses. I was shocked that they were charging upwards of $5000 to replace my heater. I came across Leo with Garzac through some networks and he promptly went to my house to assess the situation. He gave me a quote that was about half of what the other company charged. Moreover I felt that Leo would take good care of me. He installed the hot water heater without my needing to be there. One of the other things the other company told me was that the shut-off valves to our toilets were not working. They wanted $800 to replace three valves. I asked Leo to look at them. It was not successful, but I appreciated it anyway. When they did come out, they started with a sealant repair around the toilet, but then the agent, Albert Flores, got 1/2 way through and then suggested that the price to replace was almost exactly the same as to repair and that after 20+ years it was starting to look bad.
