“So, my toes are wiggling as I write this because I'm that happy to be back at Rey's. We remember when this location opened. We had just moved in around the corner & it quickly became our rest hole. I don't know how many friends, family, colleagues or out of town guests we fed during the years we lived so close. Apx 13 years ago we left CA & moved to AZ. I still can't find comparable food. In one of my previous visits back home, I packed up a couple of meals & took it home on the plane. I grew up with a Hispanic aunt & love good Mexican food. That being said, I'm back in town for a stressful time, yet thrilled covid political reaction didn't close them down. After a stressful morning, we came in for lunch. We recognized loved faces & we ordered my Chili Colorado Mega Wet & a Carnita plate. I sucked on chips cradling the beloved sour cream sauce & salsa selection. I cried over a margarita. I savored every bite. I took half home to share with my mom. We dropped $50 for 2 meals, Margarita, tip I love you, Rey Azteca Ishmael,❤️🔥❤️🔥”

The pizza had a perfect balance between the salty bacon and sweet figs and caramelized onions. I paid at The Pub and enjoyed a pint from their large selection of craft beer while I waited. This is now my go-to pizza spot in Chino Hills! My only critique is that I hope they can setup delivery/online ordering sometime in the future.”

“Boiling point has been one of my favorite hotpot places since our first tasted in Southern California in 2014. When we are craving for small hot pot, this is definitely our top place to go. For lunch you will get one drink for free(black or green tea), including weekend, which is very amazing. Their appetizer was not as impressive as the hotpot when we visited in November, 2021. We got House Special and Seafood & Tofu this time. House special has been a very classic and authentic Taiwanese small hotpot flavors. I like how Seafood & Tofu has lots of seafood instead of those typical hotpot seafood ball you would see in other places. They put too much white pepper in the soup base, so it tasted not as plain as I expected. Gladly they were able to add soup so it tasted a lot better after that. The white pepper was the main reason I gave 4 stars but overall it’s very good and tasty. Will definitely visit again.”

All those reviews nagging about not letting them to sit there because they were not ordering anything, are not fair in my view. Yes, at the time maybe someone was not waiting, but if they see no space is available, they may not make a purchase. Also, it is their tables, so they can decide to have their own policy. It may be no harm in lending something of you own to someone, but simply you may don't like to do so. So don't expect others to let you use their resources freely.”

Thankfully (sorry Persians!) they do not insist on using ranch dressing and ketchup on their pies, Sipan instead passes out a healthy amount of their homemade spicy chipotle sauce. “We are from out of town and this place was close to the bel air swap meet in San Bernardino. Everything was very good! The biscuits and gravy were very fresh tasting. Large portion so we shared it. He ordered the lasagna which was also a surprisingly big portion. A little underwhelming in the flavor department and there was a soft, almost creamy cheese on top that we couldn't identify. I ordered the seasonal gnocchi dish to try, but with pasta. The sauce itself was not enjoyable. The waitress was nice enough to let me order something different. I went with the linguine mare pasta with a little extra spice. Loved every bite!
