“I haven't had a submarine sandwich as good as this since I used to go to Jersey Shore as a child. This brought back a lot of memories! The meats were just the right thickness and the toppings, bread were very fresh for a late evening order. The person who took the order was very courteous and really went out of his way to make sure you were satisfied. I didn't eat the submarine right away. I had purchased it to eat on the plane back to NYC, but ended up eating it for lunch the following day. It was still fresh and delicious! I wish there were some franchisees in NYC. I had al pastor and it was sweet with a Smokey background flavor. I also got a carnitas taco and it was amazing, nice and tender, pack of flavor. Their special sauce isn’t too spicy but it does build up if you eat a lot of it. The horchata is also very very good, taste almost like you’re eating a churro. The only issue I would have is that the price is a tad high and the size is a bit small, but if you are like me, a burrito and a small taco will fill you up for close to 12 bucks. Come on Tuesdays and tacos are $1.50”

“Only gave a 4 stars because you can't buy less than a pound of fish, only a pound or more. I only wanted 1/4 pound for myself and could not eat or use a full pound. Other than that, I got the Delta which is 2 catfish filets and two sides. I had the lobster Mac n cheese and collards. The fish was good, seasoned well but a tad bit on the small side. The greens were spicy and the Mac n cheese had lobster and was very good. It was also very rich so I couldn't eat it all. I chatted with the co-owner Maria, and she was so very nice. I enjoyed my meal and would go back”

Tacos were so good. I read all the reviews about their aguacate and the salsa pretty spicy but in a good way spicy. Made my mouth water so badly wanted to get more. Their Birria pretty popular but the tacos. Man made me think about how awesome they were perfectly crispy and juicy. They have a variety of aqua frescas and some soda to choose from. “Second time trying this place and it's becoming one of my favorite fast food places. The food is great and I love that I can choose the spice level. If you get Dave's #2 you can choose different spice levels for each which works out great if you plan to share with your kids or simply if you want to try different spice levels. Another big plus is that the spiciness is actually spicy, I am used to eating spicy food and usually when I go to restaurants their spicy food is not really spicy in my opion but Dave's Hot Chicken definitely delivers.
