“Great dinner here after the drive up the 99 from Fresno. This place was close to our Airbnb and open till at least 9pm. Very friendly and welcoming service. Seemed like a fun Friday night spot, good sized crowd in the patio singing karaoke and enjoying beers. We had a Modelo, carne asada tacos and their Americano taco. The Americano was my fav-so juicy , crispy taco shell, fresh toppings and cheese. I’d like to try more of their menu next time I visit Sac.”

“I recently enjoyed a return visit to Cafe Dejena with a friend after morning Mass across the street at Sacred Heart Church. As usual the eatery was inviting - it was clean and tidy and sparkled in the morning sun. The glass shelves were filled with all kinds of yummy baked goods that helped to whet the appetite. But my mind and tummy had already settled pancakes and bacon which arrived piping hot very soon after I had placed the order. The pancakes were just the way I liked them fluffy and covered with butter and I found the syrup just as enjoyable with just the right amount of maple sweetness. The bacon was flavorful, though the slices were rather thin for my taste buds. Nevertheless I washed it all down with a robust cup of coffee. In addition to such American food classics this place is known for its eastern African fare, which I will leave others to comment on.”

“This is a review of a LOCAL Panda Express for the purpose of letting corporate know that at the very least they have an excellent store in Colorado. Every once in a while I get to have a lunch experience that makes me take note and makes me want to write a good long review. One might look at a restaurant and say, it's only a chain. But this particular Panda is not JUST a link in a chain, it's the best link I've found so far. I walked in and noticed something on the menu that every other PE the Denver area has given up on, Black Pepper Chicken. I couldn't believe that every other PE has given up that wonderful original recipe basically for novelties that almost no one wants and gimmicks that detract from the quality of the entire chain. While I was there I enjoyed speaking with the manager and a few of the other employees. They were REAL, pleasant, and didn't just have a canned greeting or prepared script to read to me. What a GREAT Panda Express, what great employees and that manager needs to be recognized by corporate. And, to boot, every menu item was appealing except for the "fake meat". That's one of the aforementioned gimmicks. I plan on posting this review on corporate. The store is #1515 at 8331 A, Willow St, Lone Tree, CO 80124. I don't just recommend it, go out of your way to get to it!!!”

I got the two plant-based taco options: The Crispy Taco: 5/5 - Really liked the fried shell on this one. Used PB beef and daiya cheese. No waiting time, got seated right away. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was cordial, friendly, and helpful. I ordered my usual, Bacon Burger, and it was delicious! I always use the BJ’s app, because it gives me $10 off whenever I get enough points, and free ice creams sometimes lol. Food was really good, as usual, no complaints there. Good atmosphere!”

If the salsa is terrible or rather bland, I feel it sets the tone for the rest of your meal. Here at Mexico Viejo they do not disappoint, especially their red roja salsa. It is nice and picante with quite a bit of heat. And I do love my heat. For the value meal that will fill you up go for the bean and cheese burrito and some rice inside the burrito. If you're looking for something. Crunchy with also added value. Give the five roll tacos a shot. They used to be five bucks but due to COVID and all of its fall out the prices have gone up. Just a tad. All in all, Mexico Viejo is a solid value with good taste. I'm sure you will find something to your liking and not break the bank”
