“This was a very nice shopping mall in Redwood City California. We were in Northern California in Silicon Valley and we stopped there for a few items. We had plans to eat at a restaurant there called Max's but it was closed. They had many many shops with the very nice fairly high-end merchandis with a few places to eat as well . It was a pleasant looking Shopping Center and it was one I would return to. The parking lot was extremely clean. I would recommend checking it out if you're up in Redwood City.”

They also seemed to increase prices recently, I’m guessing to catch up with the loss from the pandemic. Which is fine, but $14 for dry pork ribs is not it. The used to be $4 less. At that rate I’d rather buy a rack from the store for the same price.”

“When I first came to Sue's Place, I didn't expect much from a small diner. Although most of their menu seemed to be breakfast items, it was lunch, so I opted for a Cheeseburger instead. What I got blew my mind. Their cheeseburger is like none other. The patty was cooked to perfection: it was flavorful, soft, and juicy. So juicy, in fact, that it dripped meat juices the entire time I ate it. The patty itself was large, larger than I expected yet not unwieldy or too excessive. The lettuce was crisp and plentiful, the tomatoes were thick, and the sauces gave the burger's flavor a hearty kick. It really was a burger above. Their fries were great, too. Crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, each gave a satisfying crunch when bitten on. Their fries were fresh and tasty. I had the cheeseburger and fries four times, each time was as amazing as the last. This place might seem like a small, unassuming hole-in-the-wall restaurant, but it's my favorite. I'd give Sue's 6 stars if I could.”

Tantalum is an experience that really can't ever be captured on Socials or video...it's a disservice to think it's great through those lens. Come and explore it yourself! We listened to an amazing group of musicians that filled the room and once the sun was far enough into its final descent, oh when they opened all of the blinds, what a new and refreshing experience to look out onto the water and see the reflection it was amazing. “My wife and I both had the 14oz Picanha, and we weren't sure what to expect of the hot stone thing. Now, it's our new favorite way to eat steak, and beat out 1818 as our new favorite steak place. They are different atmospheres though, Gauchos is medium-volume whereas 1818 is usually fairly quiet. But don't worry, you won't be able to hear anything over the sizzling of your steak on the 730 degree stone anyway. We can't wait to go back.”
