“First time here since hearing rave reviews and they did not disappoint. I got the hassani chicken bowl and the kids pita with chicken. The bowl was delicious and very filling and I couldn't finish it all. All the ingredients tasted very fresh. The kids pita comes separated in a tray that you assemble yourself. They come with some delicious pita chips that were so flavorful, I even went back to purchase more. Besides the food, the customer service was excellent. Overall, I would definitely come back again.”

“Went here for my stepmoms birthday because she used to have this pizza when she was younger and said it was amazing, and nothing has changed! My boyfriend and I didn't know this placed existed but were glad we know now because it was INCREDIBLE! I eat pizza quite a lot, probably more then I should, but it was some of the best, most fresh tasting, authentic pizza I've ever had. Worth the price! Our server was so awesome and made the visit even better! We will deffinitly be returning!”

“Lovely little French café on Foothill! The staff who work here and own the place are so kind. Lovely hospitality that contributes to a jovial ambience. The food and coffee were great, both generous in portion and quality. While I might not categorize their offerings as completely authentic French cuisine, I had a lovely visit to this cafe and recommend it to locals! P.S. The bakery goods look so good!”

“Really was impressed with the overall meal. We actually used to get catering from here, for a private school, and food was always good. But never happened to dine there myself. But recently stopped by and ordered their beef and ribs plate... and wow, their ribs got me hooked. Everything was great though and has definitely become a regular for me. Looking forward to stopping by again soon.”

“Super CLEAN even the restroom! Great service. It looked at of they were short staffed but the employee did a phenomenal job taking care of everything! He was working the register, the drive thru, and helping get stuff for the cook. I really hope they appreciate this guy.”

“Several vegan options 😋 including Mexican, burgers, chili fries, and dessert. They also offer large food portions. Chili cheese fries can be shared with 4 as a side or 2 as a meal. Burritos are large enough to share also. We will definitely be back.”

“The Bbq chicken sandwich hit the spot. Theres a few sandwich options you can order from along with soups. This place carries so many pastries. From other reviews and customers I came across, macaroons are their #1 seller. I'll be coming back to try a few pastries. The service girls were great. They were patient and knowledgeable of everything they had in stock. Theres a few tables inside the restaurant were you can sit and enjoy your food. Forgot to mention this is a an empty shopping center. The center looks abandoned. It's right next to smart and final.”

“I placed my order online at California Pizza Kitchen, Walnut Creek the previous day for pick up and overall had positive experience. Since I chose to pick up my order at 11 am I arrived 5 mins in advanced. I was pleased to see that the place opened minute by minute sharp at 11 and I was welcomed in by manager. I got my delicious whole red velvet cake(12 peaces for $70+$6.48 tax) sealed and securely packed in a carton box and a paper bag. Parking is easy in the garage next door or street parking $2 per hour. Interior is fresh, spacious, clean and modern. Only concern that a girl/cashier could’ve been friendlier. Anyway I can’t wait to come again and dine in to try their pizzas.”

“We were brought to this place because of their breakfast burritos. We understand the hype. Coming from SD breakfast burritos, let alone Mexican food in general, is a peculiar thing. Their breakfast burrito is a strong contender. The price did raise an eyebrow, but considering its Anaheim, and that the establishment is in the same building as luxury apartments the price factor wasn’t a deal breaker. In fact, they at least stepped up the presentation. As for everything else, the place vibes like a soft sports bar that happens to be open and serves breakfast. It is also peculiar that after the fact some of the biggest critiques are on their sandwiches—which we didn’t try nor what brought us over. For the most part the place was clean: Dining area, restrooms, and what we could see of the kitchen. Parking is a little confusing but manageable. Would definitely come back to try a sandwich and get a beer, maybe watch a game. Till next time! 👍”

“This location is the best Starbucks in Madera. The food is great. My coffee always tastes better at this location. This place is always clean and the staff is very friendly. The service has declined a bit. I am noticing that hot coffee cups are being set at the mobile order pick area without a sleeve or stoppers. I now have to ask for these things. Before, it was easy grab and go. The parking lines in the front need to be repainted. Other than that, this is my favorite Starbucks!”

“I went back when they opened at 11 am , they gave us old inedible food that they reheated. Been here a few times and the quality is spot on . Will not be back, cook must of been lazy when they want and forget people pay good money for food to be made fresh . Orange chicken was tough! Egg foo young was burnt, and a massive concealed lump of gravy and pork . When we ordered they told us it will be 10 minutes until we get our food . Or did they mean it will take them 10 minutes to reheat in microwave. Absolutely disgusting food yesterday.”

“I ordered jerk chicken plate, got the potato salad and plantains. Service was great lady at the front helped me order beacuse I've never had Jamaican food, price was understandable definitely on the pricey side but for a reason. They give you enough food for 2 meals, the chicken wasn't dry at all seasoned very well and definitely a little spicy. Food was everything I expected and more will definitely come back!”

“Haven't been since 2017 but lemme tell you I had to look this place up I went here everyday for 3 weeks and it was an absolute monster for flavor. Salsa was hot as F*** but you can get weak salsa if you dont like spicy. The burritos were LA LEVEL”

“This place has such amazing food! The tater tots were so perfectly cooked and everything was some of the best food I've had. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very clean, elegant, and made the whole experience perfect. The food is pricy, but absolutely worth it.”

“Top tier food for decent prices. They seem overworked and sometimes overwhelmed with orders but they don't often take more than 20 minutes. Everyone here is kind and works hard to meet everyone's needs. I usually order the quesadillas "al pastor". They are often a bit greasy but for just $9 a plate the flavor that the cheese, meat and tortilla leaves just makes you want to take another bite. I often end up downing the whole thing in a few minutes but be warned some of the items here, the quesadillas included, have big portion sizes. For those who are looking to just try it out, don't want to pay too much, don't want anything greasy and don't want to order something they cannot finish, I highly recommend the grandma quesadillas. For only $5 it has cheese meat and a side of sautéed onions all stuffed in a corn tortilla. Also try the tacos, they are a bit small but if you get a plate of four tacos it makes up for it, it's been a while since I ordered the tacos but last I remember they were $1.75 each taco. Tiny tacos which are packed with meat and chile in a small corn tortilla.”

“The Pad Thai was good, I would give it a 8.5/10, with the chicken being slightly overcooked. The Pineapple Fried Rice was very good, I would give it a 9.3/10. Overall highly recommend the place, Pad Thai and Fried Rice were each $15. Lychee drink was fantastic with a fresh lychee taste, and it was $3.50.”

“I have ordered several dishes at Oscars and thought they were terrific. Today I tried out their breakfast with a friend of mine. I ordered the scrambled eggs and chorizo and he ordered a ham cheese and egg burrito. Both dishes were delicious and highly recommended. Do yourself a favor and visit Oscars. You will not be disappointed.”

“I guess we found another place in LA where you can smoke a nice hookah prepared by professionals. The Medusa Hookah service is really great! The guys know their job, they have perfect cleanliness, good equipment, and they try very hard to please their customers. You will enjoy a wide variety of hookah flavors, atmosphere and nice music. The staff is very polite and professional. If you are looking for a hookah spot to have a great time with your friends, I highly recommend this bar. There are two big outdoor patios. Cocktail bar with chill vibes. Great food! Great ambiance! Just took Pizza, burgers were bomb.”

“This was some of the absolute BEST Indian food I have ever eaten in my life! My friend and I were looking at each other in disbelief, as we tasted our delicious lunch! It was out of this world delicious! We even asked to talk to the chef, so that we could express how much we loved his cooking! Will definitely be back!”

“First time checking this place out and WOW! Is it ever on point and so much more! The vibrations and the aura this place holds is phenomenal! So many vibrational light beings inside this POWERHOUSE! Being bi racial and unfamiliar with our culture, we have strived to find communities that connect us with our African-American heritage and Compound has a way of doing that in so many facets. With the support of local black artists, and so many offerings within The Healing Arts Ministry, this place is most definitely a NEW FOUND HOME AWAY FROM HOME! Have been following their newsletter for many months familiarizing ourselves with what they offer and when we heard that there was a monthly open mic that definitely sparked our interests! Writing is an art form and it was such a pleasure to get on that stage and share our words with others. It was a quaint group with a little over 10 performers. We enjoyed the writing prompts and the time that we were given to jot down ideas. This event will be our go-to, as it is a safe, inclusive place to share our words with all. (Not only that, this open mic was different than the rest, in that the co-host was celebrating her bday.) If we're not mistaken her name was Shelly? EVERY WORD SPOKEN touched our hearts. The inspiration, the rawness, the depth...she combined it all in a way that touched every orifice of our being. We truly enjoyed the mixture of multi media compositions including: dance, music, fire, spoken word, digital flower visuals and the POWER OF THE SWORD. It was such an honor to experience this with her. HER ONENESS! HER CLARITY! HER PASSION! The journey in which she has partaken in, is one that we will never EVER forget! Her words we will never forget, each one wrapped around this body like the veins.COMPOUND WE WILL NEVER FORGET! Thank you THANK YOU for this gift. Thank you for reawakening our own self love! (The flowers that you gave to the audience members have been placed in the center of our altar, and will be dried and kept as a memory of you.) As Shelly says "Hovering near love is a habit not a vow. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. All my worst pain came from not trusting my truth." Going forward we will ensure that love comes first, next to our own truth and that our crown is worn daily! AMEN ASHE AHO”

“A decent place for Filipino food. The place is relatively clean and well maintained. The grocery, food orders and meat area is on the first floor while their Dining Area is on the 2nd floor. It gets busy during lunch and dinner hours. The are kinda slow with taking orders. Wish they had a better system of just getting your order and food. Being in line takes about 15 to 20 minutes to have your food ready. By that time, I'm already dizzy from hunger. The food is great though. So it is worth the wait. Especially their grilled foods like pork bbqs and fish. Very big portions. Although not all the foods are the best in taste so you will need to discover which ones are the best for you. Grocery is abundant with lots of Filipino products. Meat are is kinda generic. You can have large orders of food and schedule a pick up date. It is ordered in the cashier up front. Good amount of parking but can be very busy. Staff is friendly and accomodating although they are mostly busy.”

“Absolutely favorite place!!! Love sharable tapas style dishes. One can't skip Bacari fries with egg and aioli sauce. My favorite there are scallops, lamb kabob, chicken sliders were new on the menu (wasn't crazy about sauce tasted weird) but crispy chicken was very good. Also fish is always a good choice there, beet salad is amazing.”
