“The moment we met Lilliana and Milva we knew they were the right match for our son. They have a wonderful outdoor space as well as indoor for when the weather isn't as nice. Our son had a transition period for the first few weeks where he cried when we dropped him off. This was hard but to be expected and Lilliana and Milva were very good at helping us through that as well as him! Sending us pictures soon after we left to show that he was happy and smiling. They provide meals and have definitely helped him make progress with drinking water and eating. We love Danzenyoga Daycare and so does our son :)”

“I graduated from this high school about 2 years ago and I do think some teacher need to be replaced or they have to change their attitude but most of the teacher were really helpful. It's no a bad school education is mostly top level the teachers are very helpful and the sports are really competitive and fun to join.”

“I sent 3/4 of my kids here for pre school. They do such a great job taking care of my kids, teaching, and nurturing them. The curriculum is perfect. I sent one of my kids to a Montessori before elementary school and when she went to elementary school, she was one of the few not able to read. In Montessori’s, they let the kids do what they want, but at this school there’s a little more structure and better curriculum. I would recommend this school to anyone and wish we found out about this school sooner.”

“My daughter went to this day care from the ages of 3-6yrs and she loved it. My child always spoke highly of her teachers and ALWAYS came home wanting to tell me all the things she's learned. Mrs. Debbie (the director) is perfect at what she does and once you meet her you can tell she has a heart for children. I was really bummed when we moved counties and I had to switch my daughters day care. I wish I could give an endless amount of stars ✨”

I love that Highland Hall focuses on the entire child, instead of the rote memorization of facts that was passing as an education in her previous school. In four short months she has regained her self confidence and she can't wait to go to school. She is also learning how to be a good citizen, and to care about the earth and the people around her. She reads voraciously, and is suddenly very curious about the world around her. We have been welcomed with open arms, and love the community spirit at Highland Hall. “My daughter started taking lessons from Val when she was 9 years old. Val has been an inspiration for her to stick to piano and made tremendous progress. She started competing and won many local, national and international major competitions starting at age 10. Now she's in high school and we have moved out of state. Val has been teaching her through Zoom lessons and in person whenever we return LA. Val sets goals for his students and pushes them to achieve their highest potential. He is very dedicated and always does what's best for his students. Outside his teaching he has been a great mentor to my daughter for goal settings in general. We can't thank him enough for being the ideal teacher for our daughter. We highly recommend him to anyone who wants to pursue music education.”

“Updating my original review: I wrote my original review below when my daughter was about 18 months old. She’s 4.5 now and still at Magic Carpet and I’m struggling so hard that the time is approaching where she will need to fly the nest to Kindergarten. What I said below rings true and then some. Leigh and David have been such instrumental figures in my daughter’s life and her education. She will leave Magic Carpet with huge shoes for any teacher to fill. An impossible task I’m sure and I wish she could stay forever. She’s fully ready for school thanks to Leigh. I’m just not ready for her to leave. The good part is, though, we have a 20 month old son who has also been so loved by Leigh and David at Magic Carpet for the last 14 months so we get to see them every day for a little while longer. He’s so happy there. I’m so thankful to this family, they are our extended family at this point and we owe so much to them for enriching our kids (and our) lives!!! ————— Aw we can’t say enough good things about Miss Leigh and Magic Carpet Daycare. Our daughter has been going there since January and we were so hesitant about starting daycare for her during a time of some pretty intense separation anxiety and never having been to a daycare before. Within a week she had totally settled in and now we struggle to get her to leave. It’s been the most wonderful next stage in her development and she lights up when we talk about daycare. She’s grown so much in her personality since attending and it’s been so wonderful to see. Miss Leigh is fabulous, we couldn’t have been more fortunate to find her. She loves our daughter so clearly and nurtures her growth so completely. I trust her implicitly and she’s amazing with all of the kids of all different ages. She had this thing nailed and I take my hat off to her for her ability to hold down routine and keep all the kids happy and entertained. Plus her family is incredible, her own kids interact with the daycare kids and parents like they are a part of the family and that’s exactly how it feels. Thanks again, Leigh and family.
