“Emmy nominated, Chief meteorologist, Jeff Ranieri visited Toyon kindergarteners to share his awesome career. Jeff is the classiest and is a beautiful, joyous human being. He proudly sported a meteorologist paper crown just like all the kindergarteners. He played his draw and guess game to teach the students about weather and the different types of clouds. Jeff was so generous with his time that he took as many photo opps as we requested, and he authographed his photo for each student.”

“I went to this school from kindergarten to forth grade. When I enrolled the school had a 5 star, buttt when I left it had a 2 star. One very incredible thing about this school is that they teach Spanish to their students because 40% of the school is Spanish speaking only. They teach spanish in a very fun and educational way! To this day I can still pick out certain words when I hear someone speaking Spanish. Also, The teachers are VERY welcoming and nice. Although fights do tend to break out a lot, students are pretty nice and work well with each other.Now.. about the education... my end of the year test scores at Irwin were barley average. But, the year after I moved into a new school my test scores jumped up 500 points and I was high above average (along with most of the students in my school). As you can see Irwin academy does tend to lack when education their students. Irwin academy also provides MANY fun school activities for their students. I remember always having pizza parties, pick nicks at the park, history days, and many amazing school plays. Overall I think this school would be wonderful to send your child too if you’re looking for something fun and educational.”

“This is my daughter's first year at this school she loves it. The staff is so helpful and they have amazing services. Everyone that works there are amazing people. I love the fact that they take pride in their students and the school. This was a great choice that i made for my daughter to attend this school for Jr. High.”

“This studio is wonderful! I contacted them for assistance with my art project. Bri the owner was great to work with and was super accommodating. My art instructor, Mia, was super! Since art is not my typical comfort zone. Mia gave me great insight, direction, and training for my art adventure. She was very patience and knowledgeable. I will be returning for additional training. Also while visiting the studio, I was able to see how wonderfully they worked with children - very caring and compassionate. I would recommend them to all !!!”

“My son has been a student at Bridge for 6 months and I am beyond satisfied with the enriching educational and social experience he is now a part of. He was previously enrolled in a different work-related preschool in Claremont, and the difference between there and here is truly like night and day. I feel like at Bridge they sincerely value my son (and every student) as an individual. My son has been learning so much more at this school. The quality of the staff is incomparable. We are truly lucky that this top-notch school opened in our area just when we were planning to move our son to a different school to upgrade his educational experience. I highly recommend Bridge Montessori to every parent in the SGV and beyond.”

“Montessori schools generally prepare students for school. They teach them content areas and prepare them to be life long learners. However, Step-by-Step Montessori is in my opinion the best Montessori school. Mrs. Marzi, Ms. Rachael, and Mrs. Martha are highly educated women who take the responsibility of teaching the whole child; academically, culturally, and emotionally. I am so grateful for how the school prepared my son for first grade. He is one of the highest students academically in the class. The school also has events that encourage cultural awareness and a coming togetherness of the students and parents. My youngest son still attends Step-by-Step and although he has a different in personality than my first, he is excelling academically at the same rate as my oldest son. I am so pleased with the all the things they have taught my sins at the school. I would high recommend Step-by- Step Montessori to anyone especially the families who are dedicated to developing their child as a whole person.”

“Both my kids go here - after school and preschool. The teachers are very good and help the kids with their home work and ensure kids do their homework on time. My younger one recently started in early preschool and we couldn't be more happier! The teachers are very good in taking care of our little one and ensure that he is eating all of his lunch. They are also very good at potty training our little one. They also emphasize a lot on cleanliness and visit there any time of the day to find it clean. I really recommend Genius kids technology drive location for aftershool and preschool.”

“Going there really prepared for me to get to college and so far they also prepared me to go through college. Though it has its flaws, what school doesn't? We're talking about young teenagers attending school and these teenagers show a load of maturity, it is the best school in the Bay Area, teaching low-income students to reach never ending opportunities.”

“When our family decided to move from California across the country, even though I knew I was going to miss and mourn it, the thing that really broke my heart was to pull our two year old daughter out of Rainbow Planet Montessori. The woman that runs the school, Fariba has a commanding presence which was perfect for our daughter to learn from and follow, she is very loving and kind, sending photos, talking us through our daughter’s different and sometimes difficult behaviors, making special parties for the kids, decorations for each holiday, creating a sense of enthusiasm and excitement for each. Fariba or FaFa, as we came to call her, had a bond with our baby which was undeniable. Our daughter loved it there so much that she would shut the door on us to leave. Fariba clearly cares for each and every one of her students, on our tour the space was so clean we felt we could eat off the floor. She always made herself available if we needed anything and we miss her dearly. We would highly recommend enrolling your babies here. She is fiercely protective regarding the safety of her students and on top of her sick policies to keep everyone in her charge healthy and happy. I won’t forget seeing her former students drop by with their families just to see her and say hello, I completely understand why.”

“Why is everyone mentioning lighting trash bins on fire, smoking marijuana, and sugar-coating of the magnet gifted program? I attended this school myself and it is up to an individual student to find who they associate themselves with. Yes, there are troublemakers (as there would be in any other school) but generally this intermediate school was great. They have many great teachers and opportunities if you look for them, and the magnet program is really great. Students have to learn to take the right actions and avoid those who want to make the school look bad, thats all.”

“We were here for a private birthday party (a Sunday), and it was great! Facilities were clean, and the layout of the pool(s) provides plenty of different play options for the kids. Playground was closed for the party, though.”
