“Miss Jean is a miracle worker! A true master with the littles ones. She is so kind, patient, caring and truly takes her time to make learning how to swim fun. My 3 year old sons first 3 lessons, he was screaming in her ear the whole time, crying for daddy! She calmly continued to reassure him and then all of a sudden the switch flipped and he started talking about how he loves learning to swim with Miss Jean, loves swimming, and actually looks forward to going to the swim lessons now! Miss Jean is a saint!!! I highly recommend her! For some background, I swam competitively in college and taught lessons myself on the side. She is truly exceptional and I wish we found her earlier!!!”

Curriculum is presented much like play and is constantly changing (about once a month), so the children have time to thoroughly explore each topic without becoming bored. Kids get plenty of time outdoors. They eat lunches outside, have a playground, grass and garden. New World Montessori keeps up great parent/teacher communication. We get frequent emails on various happenings at the school. Teachers are always happy to answer questions or address concerns before and after class. Our oldest was 3 when he joined her class, and our youngest 2.5 year old. They both thrived under her care. We're so grateful both our children got her as their teacher! She has a magnetic energy, is loving and caring, organized and patient, all while offering structure to the little ones. The children come into her class each morning with a big smile on their face. That's how you want all kids to get to love school, in a warm yet structured learning environment. Ms. Jay has years of experience in Montessori play and learn methods and early child development. She put so much into her zoom classes during Shelter-in-place last spring (it is a challenge to remain seated in front of the screen for 1 hour when you're 3 years old!) she managed to keep them engaged and give them a much-needed sense of routine and familiarity.
