“Our son who is now 5 has been going here since he just turned 2. He has naturally been reading since he was 2 and is very focussed so we wanted him to attend a pre school where he could "free play". For him Heffalump has helped him in many ways more than one. It is such a warm environment for any child to thrive. The teachers Minakshi, Barbara, Natalya and Craig are wonderful people who really genuinely love children and root for their growth; they nurture them is such a loving way. Each teacher brings in their own strength and combined - they form a great team. They build confidence in each child, and let kids be kids. Do not be fooled by the building (which is an old Palo Alto building setting) as you enter. Spend some time understanding how kids are loved and made to thrive in this wonderful pre-school. It is a no fuss, non fancy place - unlike most schools in the area. It is a home away from home. Kids rarely get sick as they are taught how to wash hands and taught how to be independent. Wonderful place!”

“As a family living in Fremont, there are several reasons why we made the decision to have our children commute to CCS. First, CCS puts an emphasis on endurance and study habits, which we believe are important traits to cultivate at a young age. Second, CCS has a great reading and writing curriculum, incorporating the Spalding method, known for its use of writing to teach reading. Third, CCS uses the Singapore math method, which is conceptual and concise in its mastery-based approach in building a strong foundation in mathematics. We like how CCS encourages parents to partner with teachers to ensure their children are developing good habits. We love that Mandarin is taught as a second language, and music opportunities, such as violin, start as early as 1st grade. Finally, our children seem to really enjoy the learning, friendships, and activities at CCS and want us to send them there year after year.”

“We love LSA and the wonderful staff there. Between school events that bring the families together and the photo and video updates each day on the app, I feel like I'm very connected to the school and my child--even when away at work. We definitely feel like the staff really cares about our child and the health of the classroom, and are happy to be involved in the LSA Family.”

He knows how to back float, swim to the pool wall, and pull himself out! I love coach Jeffrey and Naomi thanks to their knowledge and experience I have confidence my son will have the safety and survival skills when around a pool! And he will be a strong swimmer!
