He is also very organized, which makes the learning process much easier. I currently have three of his books made specifically for teaching piano to beginners. All of them are extremely well written and thorough. He is also great at explaining more complex techniques and music theory. “Man this school was so cool back in 2015 when I went it was lit with the computers and playing games like Star fall. Other then the fact that my teachers would have me put my clip down for dumb things. Especially always getting snitched in by that girl with the mom who had no arm. Man science class was so cool too we were able to see a ant farm, touch worms, and even choose a snail to put in a race with other snails! This school is highly recommended!!! I remember how they taught and I’ve learned a lot from them! They teach you things about safety too! They are on the kids about their spelling like they have this thing called a ice cream party and it’s different levels of spelling and when you make it to the top I don’t know what happens because when I made it there they didn’t do anything but whatever. Amazing school though!”

“Our little one went here for a full year from when she was four to when she was five 2021-2022. We left for the summer break and our little one will be going to kindergarten. Else, we would have stayed on. We sure wish we had found this school sooner for her. The facility is wonderful and the teachers are simply great! They taught her math and writing and reading really well and she has strong skills for someone her age. They did some art everyday and even had an amazing graduation ceremony that was just unexpectedly spectacular. My thanks to the school and the teachers for taking such good care of our child. They worked well with us as parents, were receptive to feedback, and built our child's confidence and skills in a way that makes us proud.”

“My family and I had a great experience with Colleen during the year that she taught our daughter. She has a genuine, open, and bright spirit about her that made us feel comfortable from the start. Being a child development major, I appreciated her views on play-based learning. She teaches using the Reggio Emilia Approach, and I feel like this style of teaching is the best for preschool age children. She fosters the natural curiosity and inquisitive nature of children to further develop their abilities across all domains of development. Her classroom environment was so organic and inviting, with lots of wooden, child-size furniture and toys. I felt like my daughter was engaged, encouraged and supported during the time she spent with Colleen. We were devastated when we found out she was moving across the country. San Diego has certainly gained an inspiring teacher. We wish her all the best!”
