“I really like this school but the reason I didn't give it 4 stars is because of the cost of things. The dance tickets are normally between $12-20 and only provide you with a limited amount of food. Also, the things at the "pack shack" are a little pricey as well, but overall, it's a really great school and I enjoyed my first year here.”

“This was Killingsworth Jr. High when I went there, I believe Mr. Fedde was my woodshop teacher along with running the community center where this man had a great influence on a lot of young men. He ran a football and basketball league along with getting us dodger tickets so we all had the opportunity to attend the games. A lot of us were disadvantaged. It didn't at that time have the sports complex it has now. I remember all the teachers were awesome. I lived on Seine ave, had many, many friends there that I still remember them and their families. At that time it was a very family oriented neighborhood and everyone looked out for each other. I have no idea about now as I've been gone since the summer of '72. It seems to me the neighborhood is really clean and well maintained as opposed to how it was back in the day.”

“I found this retreat in a time of needeing exactly this, a simple beautiful place where I could rest, cleans and not feel pressured to be or do too much. Memo is a great spiritual counselor and everyone who's taking care of the land are amazing people. Their juicing therapy is great and tasty. the land is like a warm mom taking care of you.The entire time i felt at home and taken care. I enjoyed my room, the hot tubs, the evenings in front of the fire having spiritual discussions and playing music. I met amazing people that like me were there to rest and repleninsh. Their yoga istructor was great as well and so the crystal sound meditation Memo's wife did for the group. Love this place!”
