“I graduated from Hansen in 1961 --3rd graduating class! I had attended Savanna during third grade and Twila Reid was my teacher. She and several students moved to Hansen in 1958 when it opened. Twila Reid was also my 4th grade teacher. (So glad they named a school after her!!!) I remember Hansen as being a wonderful school so many years ago!!!”

“DioAmore is a nice place to jump in & start dancing. I must admit I was hesitant at first coming in because of lack of experience trying something new. The lead instructor cares about her students & works hard to making them feel welcomed. However, you will get pushed in a good way. Be sure to take notes so you can keep track of her pointers. As she goes in depth to the what & why things work. This will only make your life easier & help you with your dance journey.”

“Great School!!! Miss it tons!! The teachers, staff, and friends are the best. Lesson plans, huge gym, pool, wood shop, pond, soccer/football field, cafeteria, library's books and computers(didnt have internet at home during senior year! So asked to use the library afterschool and they allowed it.), rooms always kept cool during the cruel summer days, only us borregans KNOW Haha. Enjoy still living here and feel safe knowing my siblings are learning and being taken well care of. My advice to students is GET UP EVERYDAY & ENJOY IT TO THE FULLEST!!! Because before you know it, you're at your Graduation Ceremony!!”

“I absolutely LOVE St. Anthony’s school! This school still has morals and values! I enrolled my son when he was 2 turning 3 just to have interaction with other kids and he loves it! We’re going on 2 years now and I just enrolled my 2nd son. I’ve seen him advance in his school work and Socially. The staff is truly amazing and care about the kids. It doesn’t matter If it’s their student or not. The attendance is much less then a public school which means more one on one time and the kids aren’t craving that much needed attention by the teacher. My two nieces have been enrolled this year and have already caught up to the appropriate curriculum for their grade level since the set back due to covid. My husband and his siblings all attended St. Anthonys and were prepared and enrolled for high school AP classes. I look forward to watching all my sons grow there academically and spiritually.”

“Highland Preschool has been an amazing experience for both our daughter and ourselves. We researched and visited multiple preschools before deciding on Highland. They have a true carefree and experience driven philosophy that empowers each kid to create & make their own Devi and adventures on a daily basis! The educators are absolutely outstanding! We would highly recommend visiting Highland Preschool and enrolling for the most robust child experience in North County!”

“I went to JFK elementary school from 1964-1968 my first experience with school. I learned more at that school than any other school. I attended affluent schools in Dublin and Pleasanton, and had fun but didn't learn much! JFK not only taught me the basics but instilled a love of country as well. Different times. I remember watching Neal Armstrong walk on the moon from a classroom TV they set up for us and the "tuck & cover" drills that we practiced during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Teachers earned respect, Kids learned.”

“Nalyne is one of the most passionate and talented artists I have had the pleasure of working with. I have always treasured the time I spent as her student. Not only did I learn the fundamentals of art, but I also developed a love for culture and ideas that I had never been exposed to. From cubism to organic pigments, Nalyne explores a variety of artistic techniques and history that no other school does. This in-depth education led me to have a lifelong interest in fine arts and even influenced me to pursue a minor in cultural anthropology. Overall, Nalyne's love for art makes her class a unique experience that cannot be matched. Her experience and creativity help motivate students to create the best artwork they can and more. If anyone wishes to have a full understanding of art and its importance in our world, there is no better teacher than Nalyne.”

“Exceptional care & child development ⭐️ Joyce and her team are truely exceptional, and I highly recommend for a caring, nurturing and safe environment for your little one. My child has been with Joyce for almost 2yrs and she’s blossomed in social interactions, language, problem-solving, and confidence through their activities. Joyce is very involved with the children, having provided us with suggestions and recommendations whenever our daughter was sick, going through a developmental leap, or changes to routine. The place is clean, safe, and filled with age-appropriate toys, and communication is excellent including daily food/naps/diaper change updates and also pics. Joyce has been a blessing for our family! And added bonus she’s open over many holidays that are usually closed for most other day cares.”
