“Cool school & great teachers!”

“My daughter Aahana is in this school for last 10 months. This was her first school in USA we admitted. The place is near to our home. English is not mother tongue for my daughter and she today she is able to speak few 3 word sentences. She mostly speaks two word sentences. Its hard time for my daughter since she is learning Bengali - her mother tongue and English together. There is year round enrollment to school. I have seen significant speaking abilities for kids who are going school for over year. Besides school we have to put extra time at home - 2/3 days a weeks to improve her writing skills. I have seen kids enjoying their classes and following teachers's actions over rhymes and chiming in. My daughter is shy but she is improving. The school fees don't break your wallet.”

“My son started at Yuyu daycare when he was 13months, it was one of the best decision we made for him. Ms Yuyu and her stuffs are very caring and attentive, they treated my son as one of their own. My son was always happy when we picked him up, and often telling us what he did, played and learned during the day. Also, Ms Yuyu offers delicious meals even including breakfast and dinner which is a real life saver for two full time working parents like us! My son even remembers everyday menu at school. We definitely observed the great speech development and social development of my son after he goes to Yuyu daycare. I would strongly recommend Yuyu daycare to all parents looking for a caring, responsible, loving place for their little ones.”

“All 4 of my children attended this school spanning over the last 15 years, one is currently still attending. I love this school along with it's staff and teachers. I do not agree with any of the negative postings as you will find that the teachers are caring, enthusiastic and provide a quality education. My oldest children loved attending this school and have fond memories. My youngest still attends and is not only excelling in her classes but absolutely loves her school and the teachers she has had each year.”

“This school is one of the best thing that happened to our child. She has flourished in MSF under Ms Angeline's care and guidance. 1. It's a proper Montessori school that uses and practices actual Methods. We were not happy some of the schools that claim to Montessori in Fremont area as they hardly seem to practice them correctly. 2. The student teacher ratio is good here. I have seen this benefit our child. 3. They have a beautiful campus. When our child started school here it was peak Covid. So we couldn go in for a tour. We could only peek in from outside. What really sold us was the huge playground that they have. Tour any Montessori or Pre- school in Fremont or South or East Bay Area for that matter. Such a great playground is so hard to come by. And the school and kids use the grounds fully. And when we got the chance to go inside school after 1-1/2 year when things eased with Covid, we were not disappointed. 4. It's a very close knit school. Every staff knows every child. Almost all children know each other across the classrooms. They all interacted during playground time. This always made us feel like they were a family. All Teachers genuinely cared for each children, irrespective of if they were from their class. I have always been surprised how every teacher recognized me as my child's mother during pick up, that too behind a mask. 5. The school has now brought in after school extracurricular activities like soccer, gymnastic, dance and music. This was very helpful as kids spent their afternoon time learning a new skill but with their friends. And this also enabled them to interact with other children from other class. 6. Beyond all, our great experience with the school has to be attributed to Ms. Angeline. I mention name because she deserves recognition for what she is doing with her class. Our child started with her in 2021 and has been in her class for 2-1/2 years. Ms Angeline truly works with a child. If the child shows inclination towards something then they work on that until they master it. And the progress has been great. An example where we observed this is, when we observed one of our friends child reading, we were just not sure if our child should be reading then or not and were curious and asked Ms Angeline. She responded saying she will know when our child is ready and we trusted and left it at that. And when the time truly came and when they worked on phonetics and reading at school, our child just had a reading spurt. Our child has only progressed and flourished in every aspect of learning. She made sure each of her children graduate as a strong kinder so that they can survive and thrive a normal school if they move out of MSF at elementary. We truly appreciate that thought from her. All the learning and progress without the typical rigor of a normal school. All with the advantages of Montessori methods and learning. If you do get an admission in this school after getting past the wait list, don't think further. Take up the admission. P.S- Just the drive to the school every morning is such a perk. The school is beautifully nestled among the mission mountains. The rolling hills and changing seasons are a delight to drive by for drop off and pick up.”

“I love this school. But the people that make this school awesome are the teachers and I certainly can't forget the Principal, Mrs. Alvarado. Everyone is great!!”

“There has been a recent change in Principal which shows by the overall character of the school. I have been there on several occasions and have been greeted warmly and politely. There is a huge difference.... Check it out! Oh, and for the comment about the phone, I call quite frequently and they always respond!”

“My youngest just graduated today and our oldest two years ago. I love this school... to mention just a few, the principal is awesome... Mr.Rios the 5th grade teacher is amazing, Mrs. Herrera, Mrs. Baker, so many more, the office staff Ms. Carmen and ALL of them, the assistants around the yard.. Mr. Richard, Mr. Granager all do an amazing job. We were blessed enough to have had our boys attend this school for as many years as they did. I applaud they're patience, they're attentiveness and they're courtesy to the parents. Each year was better than the last. I wish them all a very happy vacation period and a big Thank you from the Tuckers.”

“When I first moved to the east side of Porterville, I was very afraid of sending my kids to the local school. It looked like a rough neighborhood, so I assumed the school would be as well. I was wrong. The staff is very caring, very student-oriented, and very good at communicating with parents and the community with needs of the children, the school, Food Services, and Health Services. The teachers and staff have been very easy to communicate with, and have gone out of their way to help students when they were in danger weather academically or even physically by having regular preparedness drills. My kids absolutely love the cafeteria. They make very good on the spot food.”

“I saw my grandson perform here. It's cozy inside the theater. I had some difficulty getting out afterwards. The risers are too steep for older folks. We were sitting 5 of us in 4 chairs. The row in front of ours had more patrons than seats also. The sound was really good. The kids are fabulous honestly.”

“My 2 kids now ages 3 and 4 have been attending this school for over a year now. We love this school and the teachers who work so hard to care for the kids. They serve healthy breakfast lunch and afternoon snacks ( very little processed food - minimal reliance on goldfish crackers). And they've taken extra precautions during covid - the school performs their own covid pcr testing every other week. Teacher give almost daily updates on how the kids did at school. Parking lot can get crowded during drop off and pick up times but I know this is not unusual for preschools”
