“Play and Learn Daycare is the best! My child attended this daycare for about 2 1/2 years. Teacher B. is responsible for my child's preschool knowledge. If its not for her my child will not receive 6 awards in her first year in school. Teacher B! WE THANK YOU!”

“Great teachers but my kid would often complain about the Aids being rude or mean. My kids are well manner and I advised them to just stay out of trouble so they wouldn't have to deal with the aids.”

“If you want to learn how to dance in a fun , warm & welcoming atmosphere, this is the place! From the moment you walk in the owners treat you like family. Have taken ballroom dance lessons in the past and am amazed at the quality & passion of the instructors here. They offer classes ranging from a social to competitive level & great parties where you can practice. The studio itself is new, super clean & beautiful. I'm so excited to say that I finally found my home studio and highly recommend it!”

“I'll list the PROS and CONS below. This is a nonprofit school that is great with children. My sister had her children go there 8 years ago. Now both my children go there and I'm very happy. So are they ☺️ PRO -Facility: clean and very secure. -Location: In the pocket/greenhaven. Parking lot is huge since it shares with the church. Tucked in but within walking distance of bus stops, grocery stores and restaurants. -Security: 2 separate play area that are fenced in. There's keypad lock entry, multiple security cameras inside and outside. Teachers have walkie talkies, there's a front desk and the director's office is near the entrance. Staff is routinely checked on for support. Multiple secure exits for emergencies. -Food:Theres 2 stovetop ovens to make hot nutritious meals in 1 of 2 kitchens. Children sometimes help prepare the foods like cutting cookies. Monthly menu printed out for parents. My daughter never liked salads before, but now she enjoys them. -Teachers and staff: All teachers are certified. They are friendly, trustworthy and extremely adaptable to unique situations from working with therapists to special diets. Staff also very friendly and helpful. Every few days, teacher Valorie updates the parents of her class via 'remind' app of what the children did that day and what are the future planned activities will be. -Classrooms: very large rooms with multiple activity and play areas. Every child has individual storage cubbies and sleeping nap mats. -Bathrooms: Every classroom has 2 bathrooms with children sinks and children toilets. Children height Soap & paper towel dispensers encourage them to wash hands after using the bathroom. Teachers are able to monitor children using the bathroom without ever having to leave the classroom and activities are not interrupted because 1 child has to use the bathroom. -Education: structured setting with encouragement of Independence and creativity. Also teaches about God and the Bible. They have weekly education plans that are catered to the children. I love how excited my children are bringing home projects or talking about school. From pet insects to discovering oceans and forests, there's always something new each day. To help measure their individual progress, angels nest uses the QRI system. -Playground: 2 separately fenced play areas. 1 has 2 large playsets and other one has 1 miniature playset. They are in the process of building another large playset area. -Technology: computerized check-in. They use remind app to communicate between teachers and parents. Credit card tuition payment computer station. But for those who are not tech savvy, they also have paper check in, paper calenders/activity/project/meal updates. They also accept checks and have payment drop boxes. -Price: very affordable & lowest in the area because it's a nonprofit. Cooked meals included with tuition. Church also helps supplement with scholarships and donations. The school hosts occasional fundraisers like crab feed, parents night out, etc. There's a Sibling discount and Church member discount if you choose to become a member of Greenhaven church (which is not required). They accept child action for parents who need assistance with child care. I've checked other schools/daycare like Montessori, Merryhill, kinder Care, forever Friends, etc. Unlike some of the other daycare/schools, there's no material fees, no meal fees, no uniform costs, no ridiculous high priced application fees or expensive tuition fees. Overall, this is the best bang for your buck without any sacrifice on quality. How do they do it? One word: Nonprofit. They put the money back into the teachers, supplies, children, etc. They won't charge more than what's needed vs other daycares where profit requires high cost and fees. CON Age limit: They only take children 2 and up. I had to wait til my daughter turned 2 before I could take her here. I wish one day they choose to be licensed to take infants so parents can have their little ones enjoy the benefits from such a great school.”

“Love the small size and focus on both self-directed learning & project-based learning! Denali has been a great experience so far for my kids. They like that they get to work on their content learning at their own pace. They also like working the projects, especially collaborating with peers. Due to its small size, my kids get personal attention from both their assigned mentor and other teachers. Be aware that school is still getting established as a grades 6-12 middle/high school so there are often changes each year. In 2015-16 Denali currently offers grades 6-8.”

“This is by far the saddest day ever! I just found out that the BEST Pre-School thru K in the GREATER SACRAMENTO AREA had to close their doors due to OBAMA!! and his STUPID idea to make this vitally important FIRST FIVE available for free in PUBLIC SCHOOL!! SERIOUSLLY!?? if any parent out there thinks their children will benefit or learn as much as they "COULD HAVE" with Carmie and Shania at OakTree... I must say you are SADDLY MISTAKEN! I wish you ladies all the success that life can offer... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR COMMITMIT & DEDICATION to ALL the children's lives & minds you two have developed. Loosing you two and your school is going to be felt throughout the community for years to come. Again, Thank You for your services. God Bless Both of you! The Danielson's”

“We LOVE Goddard School in Leander, the care givers, faculty and staff make it amazing for the parents and young ones alike. I have 2 older boys that went to a different daycare a decade ago and they would frequently push-back on going to school. My daughter wakes up EXCITED to get to come to Goddard School, that alone should tell you how amazing this school is! The curriculums given, constant photos sent and ever-updating decor show proof how much the owners of this school care and strive for excellence in every category. There is literally not one thing I dislike, I have never experienced a negative situation, nothing but love and happiness within those walls. You'll be very happy you chose Goddard School in Leander, we are elated and so very happy we chose them!”

There higher advanced classes, teachers, coaches, and counselors, make it the best high school to be at. Huskies!! All the way! That's Right!”
