“Heard about this from the History Goes Bump Podcast. I’ve been visiting haunted/historical places for over a year now and this place was terrific. The docent was knowledgeable and friendly. The whole building has several areas in ruin but there’s plenty to explore. What makes this place stand out is it’s realness. I’ve been to the Whaley House in San Diego (too pricey for how much you get to see) and the Winchester Mansion in San Jose (way too expensive, but beautiful and rushed) and the Castle was the best. Not rushed, fairly priced, and you weren’t constantly told to stay in certain areas and not touch things. Tip: book online beforehand. Don’t just show up. They have yours posted online. Will def return for a wine tasting night or haunted house!!”

“My son has been a student of liberty since kindergarten & they have been wonderful. The teachers are great! They enjoy teaching & they all work together as a unit. Principle Bob Whale is a caring, wonderful, and has an open door policy to his office. He has always made time to speak with me at anytime I needed him. The students work great together & parents are involved in activities. Principle Whale enjoys doing activities with the families involved like "family nights." All around GREAT SCHOOL!”

“Sycamore Academy has been a Godsend for us. Great teachers and caring staff are always responsive to our needs. Mr. Morabitto is an EXCELLENT principal who likes to do video updates for parents- we like hearing about a he events as they happen. They we have been there before during and after the pandemic- and trust them to do the very best for all students. We are very pleased with the instruction and progress the kids have received.”

“BEST decision we ever made was to send our son to this school. The community is nurturing, supportive, welcoming and inclusive. Educators know your kids and celebrate each for their unique personality and talents. Fabulous academics, great programs for both arts, sports, dance, theatre, music and amazing field trips! It's a college prep and he is graduating this year with multiple offers to universities and scholarships!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Ms Ellie and her amazing preschool! My son has been in Ms Ellie's care since he was 5 months old. Now, at 2.5 yrs he knows numbers, letters, shapes, and is talking non-stop! He LOVES going and waves goodbye to me happily every day at drop off. This is how I know that this is a warm and safe place for my son to learn and grow with people who care about him every day. What I love most about this school is that your child benefits from being with the other older children at a young age. Ms Ellie provides an amazing curriculum throughout the year focusing on academics as well as motor and social/emotional skills. The kids are learning so much every day. She is an excellent communicator and I always know how my son's day went, what he did, what he ate, and if there are any issues she is proactive in communicating them and we speak easily over text and the phone when needed. The food is amazing, and she makes it fresh every day. In addition to Ms Ellie she has amazing family and team members who provide consistent and loving care to the children. Ms Ellie's school is a true gem. Home based daycare can span a wide range of quality, but we are so grateful to have this school for our son where he is thriving. As much as it is hard to be a working parent who can't be with your child all day, having a partner like Ms Ellie and her whole team makes all the difference!”

“1 star for giving my absense an "unexcused." I was in court with my dad, I couldnt just let him go confront my mom on his own after what she did. You should at least tell people what to do when their absent so they'll know what they need to get "excused." Also I dont know if an "unexcused" is much different from an "excused" absent but I'll just blame the school for not going over that very well. Also you guys put me in Art 1 instead of Spanish but I won't complain that much cause I just draw in there.”

“My Daughter is starting to read at age 3. If you want great academics, in a nurturing stimulating environment, this is the school for you. The teachers are awesome, the campus is beautiful and the Montessori method teaches the whole child which I love. This is the only Montessori that offers and elementary program. Yes the class sizes are small which means my child will get more one on one attention. I don't know any student that wouldn't flourish at this school.”

“After weeks of trying to figure out where to send my child, we finally settled on LMA. We gave up a spot at Troy Tech, Beckman and Fairmont. As difficult as the decision was, we couldn't be happier. Perfect class size, amazing building, caring staff and several college courses included. The classes are engaging, rely on student led projects and learning that requires understanding of concepts as they relate to the world around them. First day of in person learning went beautifully. Air filters for each classroom, shields around each desk, temp checks, staff stayed with the students all day, outdoor hand washing stations and sanitizers everywhere, and they gave the kids masks and lanyards to hold them. My child is excited for the next four years! Will update this review over the next few years.”
