“The Spearman family runs this and the sister Clubs (Monarch Beach and Racquet Club Irvine) and deserves every one of the FIVE Stars. Through the entire pandemic they have been so mindful of their members. Keeping us active and happy in such a dismal time. They kept their facilities open as long as legally possible just to give us the benefit of being able to get exercise. Pools have remained open throughout. Juniors programs and summer Camps are well organized with lunch and swim time included. League opportunities a-plenty. Their reputation in the PacSun and Hill n Canyon leagues is unmatched in the region. Match arranging rocks thanks to Mina who doesn’t just throw you in a match-she places you with people in your skill level. Try Vitali’s liveball, it’s a crazy calorie burn and addictive. Staff is wonderful, like family. Grounds and courts are well maintained. Anita pours some generous drinks at the bar. And the new remodel will bring a new re-vamped fitness center.”

“I say this after/summer school is a great place for a child to learn. The staff there might be strict, but that's because they want your child to learn to be less disruptive in school and behave. Prestige Academy is the place my son goes to after school and he says he enjoys it with the quite working space and and nice staff. I say this place would make your child(ren) a better person and focus on education. If you child is bad, like really really bad, they might have to write standards to learn a lesson. The owner, Mrs. Mimi is actually a nice woman who likes teaching children.”

“One Stop Learning Center is definitely a hidden treasure in the Bay area. All the staff from the director to the teachers are so low-key that not many parents know about this place. My friend and I toured the campus together and we both fell in love with the school right away. The courtyard is very beautiful and relaxing. I appreciate that the school offers a balanced curriculum and that kids get to learn and play in both the spacious indoor classrooms and beautifully-landscaped outdoor campus, all while being themselves. The teachers are loving and caring. My son has been going there for over six months now and he is always so happy and looking forward to spending his afternoon there.”

“I'm not really sure why this school has any negative reviews. I've had my son attend from preschool to 2nd grade and I've never had any concerns with the teachers and other staff. My son was extremely shy at the beginning but continues to grow academically and socially every year. I think most of this is due to the positive environment and experiences he's had with all his teachers. There's a strong sense of community, which I believe contributes to the students' success. I'm already planning on having my 2nd child attend preschool next year.”

“Dexter Music has been a true blessing in our quest to find musical education for our daughter who is in the second grade. Signing on with the service was simple and hassle free. Christy paired us with Danielle who is a fantastic teacher for our daughter. Lessons are enjoyable, and our daughter initially started at 30 minutes but then requested to have the 45 minutes. Danielle is punctual and enthusiastic with a positive attitude and prizes that keep our daughter interested and motivated to keep up her practice. All in all a wonderful find, and the convenience of at home lessons for full time working parents is an added but highly beneficial bonus. I would recommend Dexter without reservation and we look forward to continuing.”

“I love this school! I have had three children enrolled at Calvary at one time or another. This is a place where my children were known, respected, and loved, where they grew in their knowledge academically and also in their faith. It is not too big, and has small enough class sizes that the children are seen and able to receive instruction without as much distraction as a larger school. I loved the diversity in the school too. The very best part of Calvary is the awesome community of parents and teachers. When you choose a school, you are not just looking at academics, but also looking at who their friends might be, who their role models might be, and choosing the village to help raise your child. My oldest is now at Foothill High School and was well prepared academically. He also was grounded in who he was in his faith so that when he went into a huge high school, it was not too much for him. My daughter is currently in their middle school and doing well. My son attended there for two years but has several learning disabilities and we needed the support of TUSD and an IEP team. But even still, the two years he was there they were flexible and kind and modified a great deal. I definitely recommend it and suggest you take a tour to see if it might be a fit for your child.”

I liked several things at the school during the time I attended: (this Middle School was HUGE), (I liked their Track Color Schedules), (I liked their School's Bucks, you earn a School's Buck and you can go purchase school's stuff at the Student's Store), (I liked my PE Physical Education Class; during Swimming in the pool time) Staffs was very helpful and nice. “Having our two children at Rise and Shine was really a blessing. The staff is very loving and gave our son and daughter a really fun and safe place to learn. We started both our kids there as infants. Our son continued on through kindergarten, and our girl will go to kinder next year. Our son really had a good foundation for first grade and my daughter is making great strides and loves to learn. It is a church school and teaches good Christian values along with solid academics.
