“My kid has been here for a year, and she really loves this school and her teachers. My kid was very shy, and she really needed time to be used to a new school. At the beginning of this school year, she has cried for several weeks. However, the her teachers were very nice and patient. They told me to bring her favorite things to school to make her feel comfortable. I really appreciate to having those teachers who helped my kid and me a lot.”

“We've been taking our 6th graders to Camp High Trails for several years and we appreciate all the programs and accommodations they have to offer. Days are filled with outdoor as well as indoor activities and students are engaged and excited. There is no down time for the students. It's a great experience for them and for the teachers. Did I mention teachers get their own cabin? We are looking forward to going to Camp High Trails again next year.”

“When I attended this school, it was decades ago. However, I liked it. I learned quite a bit. We were given much work and homework to do. I knew I was going to learn here. 4th grade Mr Joe Van Pelt- wonderful, let us listen to the radio when we were good in class. I disliked the SRA assignments, but he was there to help. 5th grade- Ms Edith Garvey/Mrs Darlene Morrison- wonderful teachers. Ms Morrison was excellent at explaining math. 6th grade- Mr Bob Dale/ Orlo Norfier- Mr Dale was the WWII vet who explained the whole police action to us. He was an excellent English teacher. 7th grade- Braunstein/Montgomery/Cousins, and again, Van Pelt. Much homework was given by Cousins, the English teacher. She was the greatest with her violet outfits, Bentley Bucks, where we could buy school supplies from the board, and her demeanor was pleasant and friendly. I really enjoyed this school. Rest in peace, Bonnie Harrington, the best librarian in the world. We loved you. You looked so much like the actress, Diane Ladd.”

“RHCDS has a wonderful and nurturing environment. My kids have been a part of their Lower and Middle School. I cannot thank the teachers and administration enough for what they are doing for my children. Even though the economy is tough, we choose to send our kids to private school. Our kids get the chance to swim during P.E., they also get to enjoy art classes, spanish, computer class as well as yoga! I cannot wait for school to resume is a couple of weeks. I would recommend RHCDS to any parent who would like to give their children the greatest gift of all... a great education!!!”
