“Katie is amazing with the kids and I am blown away with how much my daughter is learning! (And let’s be honest me too) It’s been such a great experience all around and I couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s been so cool to see how they teach through play but they are learning actual helpful concepts that are totally setting them up for success musically. Usually kids are just thrown right into piano lessons or something and it’s a lot to grasp but these classes make it so they will be able to jump in when the time comes no problem. Katie for sure knows what she’s talking about and keeps the kids attention so well. I couldn’t recommend Katie’s class enough.”

“Have the people putting horrible reviews on here even gone to JAMM, as they claim to? I'm not so sure.. As a student who has attended Jackson for 9 years, since it was established, I can tell you that many of the things people have said in their reviews on here are lies. For example- that they make everyone BUY their own instrument for school, that there isn't a large selection, and that students aren't taught to play. There is, in fact, a large selection of instruments available and if you are unable to get your own there are free loaners. The music teacher is great, and he has taught me so much about music theory, reading music, and more. Moving on- the criticism of the staff is quite sad. All of my teachers have been wonderful and do the best that they can. Also, to go as far to say that the staff is cruel, which I've seen in a few reviews- is crazy. They are genuinely very kind and caring people. The academics are great too, and the teachers do, in fact, care a great deal about their students. So, if you are a parent thinking of sending your child to JAMM reading these reviews, don't let the comments about "cruel" staff or terrible academics make you change your mind, because they're wrong. I am so grateful for my parents for sending me to this school. If you decide to send your student here, they will be thankful for it too!”

“My two children go to St. Nicholas for the past three years. I have my daughter currently in Kindergarten and my son in 5th grade. We cannot be more thankful of the excellent and outstanding academic program at St. Nicholas Elementary school. We are so pleased and honored to be a member of the beautiful St. Nicholas family. An amazing and distinguished program, a very well developed curriculum that goes above and beyond CA standards and common cores. My son, just recently got accepted into gifted/highly gifted magnet program for middle school and I'm proud to say his high academic achievements are significantly aimed by the exceptional education and guidance he has received at St. Nicholas in the past three years.
