“I am so incredibly grateful to have discovered Bates Grass Fed Beef after months of searching for a rancher in our area raising steer in a manner that is sustainable and respectful to both the animals and the land. Mr Bates was incredibly kind and answered all of my questions swiftly and thoroughly. My husband and I waited patiently for 2 months for our half steer to be ready for pick up from Bates butcher partner in Bakersfield and when we finally had our beef tucked into the freezer we couldn’t wait to try a steak!! Our first meal was a gorgeous t-bone we split… holy cow (pun intended) it was every bit worth the wait. Absolutely delicious! There is truly a remarkable difference in taste and it’s evident even in the color of the meat that this animal was at peak health. Feeling incredibly lucky to have a freezer full of this happy healthy beef. Many blessings to the Bates family!!! Thank you 🙏”

“April was really helpful!! I called ahead of time to make sure they have the item I was looking for, as well as confirm that the promotion, buy one get one free, they had online was available for in store. She went out of her way to check and confirm and even though the 2 item (for free) was not available she still helped me safe some money. Made my day! Thank you April!!”

“I never thought I would be rating a gas station, of all places. But this station must have some new supercharged pumps or something, because it took a VERY short time to fill up my tank compared to the Shell station off the Whipple exit of 101N. I may just decide to gas up here from now on.”

“I had my company truck parked on 73rd today while heading up a volunteer project to pick up trash on the streets, in the area. In the span of 15 min 2 guys on bicycles smashed the passenger side window of our company dump truck and stole items out of it. I reached out to the manager, Darren in hopes of attaining video of the break in. Darren was up to his neck in work but stopped everything he was doing to help me. He spent nearly an hour locating video of the break in. He went above and beyond helping me. This was an amazing effort unto itself. For someone to give this level attention to a non-customer I can only imagine the level of customer service he provides to his clients. The integrity of ABC Supplies was made apparent to me today.”

“This place really surprised me. They have a wide variety of merchandise. The prices were lower than I even thought possible. I suppose that they buy surplus. The store had some of my favorite items that I buy from regular drug stores. I found things that I didn't even realize that I needed in my life. There was sooo much food and great brands of clothing. I saw stereos, shoes, vanities, comforters, furniture, luggage, etc... I stayed in there for a good 2 hours. I'm a shopaholic on a budget but I escaped with my dignity intact. I saw only two problems... The store was well stocked but some areas were disorganized. Another drawback was that they had no air conditioning. Now that can get pretty serious but I will definitely be shopping there from now on. I'm new to the area. I'm from Thousand Oaks in Ventura County. I just stumbled upon it when I was lost (haha) but I found a new place to drop bills.”

“Updating my previous review: I have been using Mineral Spa for two years in a 300 gallon soft tub. It is a great product but it does require some maintenance. Water quality is excellent with no chlorine or other harsh chemicals as long as you keep your pH and alkalinity in range and your filter clean. Small amounts of potassium peroxymonosulafete (chlorine-free oxidizer also known as MPS shock) are necessary even if the spa is not used a lot. Even with the use of MPS shock, there has been absolutely no bleaching of the spa or swimsuits. This is a VERY mild water treatment system which is very easy on the skin and mucus membranes. It has no unpleasant smell whatsoever. I occasionally use baking soda to adjust PH and alkalinity. My hot tub has no water jets and very little plumbing so there are not a lot of places for bacteria to hide. The "massage" feature is driven by an air pump and a lot of small air jets in the liner. Aeration is excellent and I think this helps a lot. I test the water with MPS test strips (for MPS, PH and Alkalinity) every time I open the spa. I aerate the water for 15 minutes and skim the foam every time I add shock. MPS sometimes falls to near zero but I bring it back up to the high range when I shock once or twice a week. I forcefully wash the filter (and back-flush the pump) every 5 days and occasionally do a deep filter cleaning with Clorox Cleanup. We generally shower before using the spa. Following this routine I have had no problems with unpleasant odors though it is worth mentioning that we only use the spa from September through May. The spa is decommissioned and dried out in the Summer. I generally do not have to change the water for the 9 months that the spa is in use though I do compensate for evaporation and also add an additional 1/2 ounce of Mineral Spa every two weeks. I go through about a bottle and a half per year including startup. If you are having problems with you spa, call Clarity Water Products. Cal is truly an expert in his field and provides excellent customer service.”

“About twenty one years ago, we purchased our furniture from Shaun, at that time he had a beautiful show room full of unique and exquisite furniture, after all these years we decided to reupholster them, it took a while to find Shaun again, because we had lost contact, to make long story short, after getting hold if his number, contacted him and asked him to reupholster our furniture, and he did so, the furniture look stunning and better than new, Shaun is an honest person and takes pride of what he does, we are extremely happy with the result and will recommend Shaun and California chair factory to anyone who need their furniture to be reupholstered. I will post before and after photos.”
