“After our first time experiencing using Agate Bay Realty for our weekend rental at Lake Tahoe, we will be using them to rent all of our future rental homes for our yearly Tahoe trip! Due to a winter weather storm, there was a snow berm at the end of the rentals driveway preventing access. Before it was even time to check in, an amazing agent had already contacted us with the issue along with options for a different rentals to accommodate us for the night until they could have their snow plow remove the berm. Some of the options were more deluxe/expensive than our current rental but they assured we would not have to pay the difference and, if we chose, could stay at the new rental for the remainder of our stay if we chose. Thankfully the snow berm was able to be cleared and we checked in to our original rental on our first night with no other issues. The agent provided us with her personal cell phone number during all of this for quick assistance during it all. 10/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!”

“Talk about a man with many gifts. Mr. Luis has such a beautiful soul. Even though we have only had one lesson with him so far we feel like he made a genuine connection with our son, which is not easy to do for people that are not fluent or have any knowledge of American Sign Language. My son is 14yo and deaf. Luis had no problem instructing my son. He was very comfortable asking me to interpret instructions to my son and he always faced him and spoke to him even though I was interpreting what he was saying(very awesome because most ppl unfamiliar with the deaf community will look at the interpreter and say can you tell them...big nono. But he didnt. he kept eye contact with him the whole time)But even more impressive that most of the instructing came from Luis, he was using visual cues, gestures, and showing him how to do maneuvers by getting on a horse himself to show him exactly what it should look like. He was kind, patient and a pleasure to be around. He appeared to want to learn how to be supportive to my son and help him make his dreams come true to ride like a real cowboy and get one step closer to his goal to start learning reining and one day competing and training others someday.Thank you Mr. Luis for giving us a wonderful gift and making him feel important despite the communication barrier . “Probably the best Big Bear Lake Cabin I have ever stayed at, ever. This place is huge, lots of space for family and friends to sleep, play, hang out, and have a great time. The game room is full size, not just a couple games. The Kitchen is updated with everything you’ll ever need. It’s in a corner lot, so there’s plenty of space for parking, and you can literally walk to Bear Mountain Resort with your ski/snowboard. If you golf, the course is about 100 yards away. I will definitely be staying here again. No other place comes close on features, value for the money, amenities, and just good overall Big Bear Lake feel. It’s in a prime location, and there’s even a shuttle nearby that will drive you to the Village in case you’re drinking or having too much fun to worry about driving. My #1 choice from now on when I want an amazing place to stay from now on!!”

This cute 3bd/2bth 1409 sq ft cabin located in Beautiful Sugarloaf CA, is less than 7 miles to all that Big Bear Lake has to offer, the slopes, the shops, dining and entertainment and so much more! From the moment you walk into Almost Bearadise you feel like you are right at home! It’s so welcoming and comfortable! If you arrive at night, the solar lights in the front yard light your way into a whimsical fairytale. You feel like you have escaped reality and just want to sit on the front deck and enjoy the atmosphere! Let me tell you about the AMAZING humongous super comfy couch! This couch has 3 reclining seats, with built in USB ports to make charging your devices more accessible and easy along with built in cup holders. Don’t forget about the wood burning fireplace! Grab one of the many blankets and cuddle up in front of the fire, Just remember to bring your own dry clean wood! There are also a bunch of games in the blue cabinet, and a giant connect 4 game that is fun for all ages. There is also a super fun axe throwing game hanging on the wall that you have to try yourself for a night full of laughs. In the dining room, there is also a fully stocked coffee/tea/hot coco bar complete with a cuisinart dual full pot/single serve coffee pot, a French press, a variety of flavored coffee pods, and regular and decaf coffee. You will also find a variety of teas and hot coco, hot apple cider, and oatmeal packages. Several sugar/creamer/honey options an electric kettle, 4 slice toaster, toaster oven/air fryer, waffle maker and so much more! Moving into the kitchen, you will find all the dishes/utensils, pots pans and baking dishes you will even need. Also including kids plates and cups, and wine glasses. There is a full stove/oven, microwave, fridge freezer with ice maker, Britta water filter, and even several snacks that they leave for the guests! The first bedroom you come to is very cozy with a full size luxury plush full bed with a twin size Trundle bed underneath.
