“This is one of the best veterinary hospitals in the area, especially for cat owners. I’ve taken my two cats here on three separate occasions, and the facility is always clean, the staff is very knowledgeable, and my cats receive excellent care. The waiting room is large enough that cat owners can be seated far away from dogs and the rooms are relatively sound-proof, so my kitties couldn’t hear any barking. I’m especially impressed with how kind and attentive the veterinary technicians are at this clinic. My male cat is a very uncooperative patient and quick to growl or hiss at the staff, but they still treat him with respect. I appreciate how gentle and patient they are with my little gremlin— they clearly love and understand cats here, doing everything in their power to reduce stress among their patients.”

I love taking Newman to Dr. Rodriguez! He is exactly the vet I wanted for Newman. So nice, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable (and so are the rest of the staff). My family and I are grateful for him and everyone there. Everyone is great, very welcoming and they love Newman! Literally, they all adore him and tell us how handsome he is (they say they more often get veilds). In fact, the last checkup he had, the staff wanted to borrow him for a picture! They took him in another room and were taking pictures of him, hehe, he's popular. His checkups always go well, and as usual, Newman's in exceptional health! They are always thorough and so gentle with him. Newman is actually very nice to them, he doesn't hiss or try to bite. Could not have asked for a better vet place. :D”

“Our dog was attacked and bitten on her front leg by another dog this Sunday afternoon of President's Day weekend. We were at Lake County State Park, more than an hour-and-a-half from any emergency veterinary clinic. After calling around and talking to multiple facilities, our options seemed to be having to drive either to Sacramento or UC Davis and registering at a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic, after which the wait was estimated to be 3+ hours, and where you weren't allowed to accompany your dog during the exam due to COVID restrictions. (note: these things don't seem to be unreasonable; I appreciate that there even are 24-hour emergency clinics with trained staff who shouldn't have to be exposed to COVID). However, Daniel Mora was very accommodating of our situation, arranging to meet us in a parking lot in Woodland. I was able to drive straight there with our dog and we met with no waiting.. He did an exam and provided antibiotic and pain relief medication (along with reassurance), and detailed instructions for how to treat our dog over the next week, including what symptoms would warrant more invasive interventions and require another veterinary visit. He spent an hour on all of this, and his rates were very reasonable. We are home now and our dog is resting in her bed with ice on the bite. I can't say enough about how awesome Daniel was with helping us deal with this stressful situation. I am so grateful for this service!”
