“I love everything about this vet clinic. Dr.Larson and all the staff are very kind and considerate. It is obvious they love their patients.and what they do. The girls at the front go out of their way to accommodate the best they can. Julie has been there for a while and goes above and beyond to handle my sometimes “spur of the moment” requests. Sometimes services can be a little on the pricey side depending on what your furry friend is being seen for. However, considering most of us see our pets as “part of the family” or “our children” I feel the prices are pretty reasonable and below other clinics. I also believe that if there was a real issue or emergency with your loved one and you were having a hard time making ends meet , they would go out of their way to work something out. The technicians are super friendly and one young man (I am not sure of his name or else I would mention it) is so good with my dog Bo he seems to actually smile as he soaks up the friendly scratches while being attended to. I would give this place five stars but hey “nobody can be perfect” all the time. Thank you for the great customer service! We appreciate you.”

“place and person different. I really like the vet, the products promoted I don't. I remain concerned that so many vets still use pesticides on dogs and all the products end up in the dump eventually. It seems like we need an upgrade in what is offered through various product chains and the costs being tossed at clients. I think it adds to dogs being returned to the shelter because of the costs to just get basic care for a shot, a stool sample or teeth cleaning.”

“In 2009, we welcomed the latest addition to our family, a 2 year old Great Dane named Shrek. Without a family veterinarian at that time, we asked everyone we knew with a pet for referrals. My uncle, having trusted Dr Handel with the health of his Rottweilers, and other pets for years, strongly recommended only Palomar Animal Hospital. Since our first appointment, the entire staff has been nothing short of amazing. I am now the one telling everyone I know about PAH, and how awesome they are. From day one with Shrek to day 3,256 when we sadly had to say goodbye to him, everyone at PAH was so caring and helpful, it was like they shared the same love for our "youngest boy". Dr Handel, Dr Knox, Dr Nissen and every single member of their team have been such an important part of our wonderful years with Shrek. I credit them with the extra years of healthy, happy life we shared with him. To see a Great Dane of nearly 11 years old acting just as healthy as 2 years old, is impressive to anyone who knows the breed. Please, do yourself and your pet a favor, and at least meet the Palomar Animal Hospital family, and I am confident you will feel the same as we do about them.”

“Dr. Snyder is awesome!! We took our dog to see Dr. Snyder for a general check-up, and for teeth cleaning (under anesthesia) and removal of a skin tag. Dr. Snyder was kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable, and carefully answered all of my questions about my dog's care. I was extremely nervous about the teeth cleaning process, and Dr. Snyder provided excellent communication leading up to and during the procedure, and made sure I was comfortable and fully updated every step of the way. This place accepts the city vouchers so you can save some money. Once I used the voucher and once I paid. “Came here for the vaccine clinic on Saturday. Prices were reasonable and they were decently quick. I was a bit surprised that they gave the shots right in front of you in the exam room instead of taking my dog to the back, but it went ok and I at least knew where the shots were administered. Took away 1 star because the front desk staff was ok, but they weren't the friendliest. When I came in, I wasn't greeted and was just kinda looked at until I stated why I was there.”

“As I’m sure is the case with many pet owners, putting our dog down was one of the most difficult things we’ve ever had to do, but the entire experience with Peaceful Passing was worth every cent. Being able to say goodbye to our family’s companion and grieve in the privacy of our living room - where he truly passed peacefully to the Rainbow Bridge - was a decision we’ll never regret. Dr. Jessica Laemmle was a real professional and brought a bedside manner that was both comforting to our dog and to us. I even asked her to check his vitals again after she had pronounced his passing - just to be sure he was really gone - and she did so without hesitation. She walked us through a few of his vitals, which gave us the surety we needed that our pups was truly at rest so we could feel confident once she had gone away with him. PP also partners with Furever Loved, a small, family-owned crematory that provided reassuring updates as we waited expectantly for pup’s final homecoming. They delivered him back in a very nice oakwood memory box, along with a good paw print, fur clipping, and a few other materials. He had clearly been handled with love & care the few weeks he was away from us. I highly recommend these services.”

“I want to give special thanks to Dr. Meina for the great care and treatment for my cat, Pumpkin. I rescued him from a shelter 10 months ago and found that he had quite a poor health condition. I have taken Pumpkin to 6 different vets for 10 months until I settled with Sunny Hills as Dr. Meina and Dr. Anthony showed genuine care. All the staff are so kind and friendly. We lost our cat 2 weeks ago, and for the last two months since I knew that he would not live long, I had to experience so much emotional pain, but having a trustworthy and caring Vet was a big relief and support. “The Ethos team was great! We went there half an hour before they closed because we found our dog ate up some hot chocolate powder(about 100g). We were very worried that something serious was going to happen but they seem very experienced and immediately knew what to do and promptly handled it (induce vomiting, etc). When we got home my dog didn’t show anymore symptoms beyond just being tired and the second morning he was just normal. The team also stayed past their opening hours for my dog. They are very professional and friendly and I would recommend to other pet parents(although I hope you never have to take your pet to urgent care!) The X ray quiz in the waiting area is also hilarious, great for cheering up some upset pet parents”
