“Dr. Toledo is an amazing vet and is very knowledgeable. My kitten was prescribed a bunch of medication by another vet in which I believe irritated his intestines and therefore stopped moving. Dr. Toledo did a explorative surgery to see if there’s any blockage. There was no blockage and that his intestines were so inflamed that it stopped moving in which I think was all due to all 4 medications that the previous vet prescribed. Thankfully my kitten responded well to Dr. Toledos treatment after the surgery and is fully recovered! Dr. Toledo saved my kitten. Just note that any vet that you go to will all be expensive. Probably best to get pet insurance anyways!”

“My 3 lb toy Yorkie was bit on her head by my German Sheppard and she was bleeding from her ear and her eye. I didn't think she would make it. She was taken back immediately and 2 doctors started working on her. Not only were they concerned about my dog but myself as well, as I was historical and felt like I couldn't breath, they noticed my breathing right away and brought me water and checked on me. After a 3 hr stay my baby is now home sleeping on my chest! She has a long road of recovery but she's a fighter and is on her way to recovery! Thank you all so much for being so kind and taking care of my baby girl!”

“Let’s start with that I am “The Dog lady” I will freak out if my dog hurts his nail and I Physically get sick if anything is wrong with them and therefore can be difficult to work with. Now with that said I have been a Banfield customer for over 15 years with not so many great experiences over the years. I ended up at the Madera veterinarian center due to the fact I adopted another dog who was a patient with them. I was so impressed with their care that I continued using them for the cherry eye surgery for that dog names Baby. The surgery was great the follow up was fantastic from the front desk staff to the technicians to the doctors just top-notch and this is just less then three months ago. Six weeks ago I rescued another dog named BamBam at 130 pounds this Cane Corso who had been neglected -his eyelids that had rolled back into his eyes ( Entropion )- arrived at my house and was not opening his eyes anymore that’s how much pain he was in. Due to my recent experience with the Madera Veterinary Center I decided to bring my new dog BamBam in to see the doctor. Again the experience was just phenomenal it started with the fact that nobody was scared of the 130 pounds Cane Corso they had to push into the clinic because he was so scared. I ended up scheduling the appointment for his eye surgery. He now had his eyelid surgery and we are 9 days after surgery and it is just a miracle. His eyes are open and there is no more Discharge or tears , his skin around his eyes is completely dry ……unbelievable!! he still has stains on his skin around his eyes from all the years of neglect. I was very scared for this surgery and can not believe this great outcome. The poor dog is finally without pain as it is estimated he suffered for about 6 years. Entropion (rolling in of the eyelids into the eyes) general happens within the first year of the puppy’s life. BamBam is about 6 to 7 years old. I want to thank Violet, Tori, Adela, Bert and Kim for the incredible compassion and help they showed during my last couple visits, Doctor Mara Franz for the masterwork and achievement in fixing BamBam’s eyes and giving him life without pain. Also thanking Doctor Monica Dougherty and the team for the repairing of Baby’s cherry eye. I probably left couple people out so I want to thank everyone at the Madera Veterinary Center. “I was taking my Mixed-Husky dog, Apollo, to a Vet in Sylmar, which seems to be good but one day my dog got real sick with vomit and diarrhea overnight and when I saw him in the morning, he looked in bad shape. He wouldn't even eat his treat. I couldn't get an emergency appointment with the Vet. Very disappointed. Evergreen Animal Care Center offered me a same day appointment and saw my dog within hours. After some tests, my dog was diagnosted having Parvo. The Vet at Evergreen went over different options and treatments. Their treatment saved my dog and he fully recovered in a few days. I don't usually write reviews but I greatly appreciate all the help from the Vet at Evergeen and his staff who helped my dog to recover. I highly recomment this Vet as he is very good. His staff is friendly and very helpful and always try to accommodate appointments, etc. They are all very nice and good with the animals. Even that it's a longer trip from Sylmar to Newhall, I only go to Evergreen now since I know they will take good care of my dog. I would recommend Evergreen Animal Care Center to anyone that ask me.”
