“I first got a bike fit with Mike back in 2010. I was preparing to ride across country for Susan G Komen. Mike donated the bike fitting and I cant express enough gratitude for that. While cycling across the USA I had zero issues with my bike and i can not tell you how many other riders I met on the rode, who didnt have a bike fit, that had some sort of ache or pain. I have zero doubt that I was so lucky because of Mike and his expertise. Fast forward, I recently got a new bike and rode from Vancouver to SF with out a bike fit, and I had multiple break downs, where I couldn't feel my hands and one time my knee completely locked up. I am now venturing from SF to Mexico and called Mike again to get a fit. He dialed my bike in and offered great tips for my journey. I have learned my lesson and will always call Mike when I get a new bike.”

“It's a liquor store in the valley. It's got everything a liquor store should have. Been there for a long time. Parking lot is small as is typical. It used to fuel the needs of Rocketdyne workers pioneering space exploration. Now it's surrounded by apartments. Stop in and buy something before this strip mall gets torn down and yuppified and we lose yet another piece of our history.”

“Juliet is phenomenal! I'm so happy we found her for our boys. My 13 year old says he always feels so happy and light after piano lessons and his "weekly dose of Juliet." She is masterful at playing and teaching, pushing for the students' best efforts, all the while being hilarious and a joy to be around. Her education can't be beat, and I love that she has a Master's in Occupational Therapy, as well as her other degrees. P.S. Juliet’s continual volunteer work in her community and level of expertise, energy, and interest she puts into each lesson is remarkable. My 13 year old is now almost 15, and my 10 and 6 year olds are now taking lessons with Juliet as well. We rave about her to everyone we know.”

“Wonderful memories were made! My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room (Cottage Suite) was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the hot tub in the balcony was amazing while relaxing to the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the shore. There's a kitchenette that includes necessary dishes and utensils. There's also a hot outdoor shower, perfect for using before and after using the hot tub. The location was perfect. It's only a short walk to the beach, pier, and boardwalk. Breakfast was freshly baked/cooked and was delicious! The entire staff was very warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely be return customers in the future. Thank you!”

“I have been a part of the Elite Medical Diabetes counseling program for over 5 years. This program has helped keep me on track and get me back on track in regards to managing my Blood sugars, I set Goals for Sugar Level, Excercise/Walking and diet. I actually have a weekly appointment which really has held me accountable to these goals During one of their UserGroup meetings a couple of years back (Pre Covid) I was introduced to the Freestyle Libre 14 day Digital monitor system. This has allowed me to manage my blood sugars on a real time basis. Whenever I have had a question about medications, new testing equipment and most importantly diet I can count on the team and especially Kathryn, my counselor, and Emily, to get me the answers and plan I needed. “Both my kids have had wonderful experiences at Growing Healthy Children. My daughter had fun in Speech Therapy and you'd never guess now that she was late to start talking! My son loved his OT burst, especially the zip-line in the gym. The therapists made it fun to do challenging work and we saw progress in his ability to self-regulate. My kids say their favorite part of GHC is the summer camps. Hands-down, Food Art Camp is their favorite! I love that the therapists can see how my kids have improved year by year. GHC really is a place where every child is treasured. As a mom, that is my favorite part.”
