“In August 2019, after an already stressful trip, my check engine light came on while trying to get home to Utah on I-15. Dan very kindly diagnosed the issue and told me I may need a new fuel pump. In my stressed-out emotional state, I was devastated and broke down crying. Poor Dan! He didn't have the needed parts for my car, but let me know I could at least make it to Las Vegas where I could get a hotel and find a shop with the right parts. The bad part about that plan was there was a massive tanker truck on fire a ways up I-15 and all traffic was at a standstill. Dan gave me a route I could take to bypass the accident and then wrote his personal cell number on the back of a business card. He told me to call him if I got into any trouble with my car and he'd come get me. Knowing somebody had my back while I was out in the middle of nowhere helped me so much. I'll never forget Dan's kindness. I still keep the card in my wallet to remind me to pay it forward when I can.”
