Reservations are recommended, but we were seated quickly as a walk-in around 7:00 p.m. on a Monday evening. Great atmosphere inside, and the food did not disappoint. Everything was delicious from start to finish. I'd recommend coming here with enough time to take a walk downtown after dinner. It is a beautiful small town to explore.”

“I’d like to share details of another recent happy experience with Upscale Audio. In the last two months I’ve bought Manley Labs Chinook Special Edition MKII phono stage, Hana ML MC phono cartridge and Pangea Audio Vulcan Turntable stand with vinyl records storage for my secondary system upstairs to complement KEF LS60 active speakers with two KFC62 subs in stereo configuration and NOS Yamaha PF-800 turntable. In my primary system I have SME 20/3 turntable with Hana Red MC cartridge (another happy purchase from Upscale Audio), Manley Labs Steelhead RC phono stage, McIntosh amplification and DAC, and Room correction unit with Sonus Faber Guarneri Evolution speakers and two JL Audio Fathom f112v2 subwoofers in stereo configuration. I have collection of about 5000 LPs with mostly jazz, classical and progressive rock music. Building my upstairs system, I have relied on the advice of Upscale Audio consultant Richard O'Neill. Richard has paid attention to my needs, asked multiple questions regarding my expectations, listening preferences and the equipment I already had. Long story short: I just LOVE the combination of Manley Labs Chinook Special Edition MKII and Hana ML MC phono cartridge! The cartridge setup has not been complicated, I just readjusted it after 100 HRs and found that load of 125 Om with end of the arm set just a bit higher from cartridge body being parallel to the LP brought everything in the focus. What is most important – I don’t feel like my second setup is lacking in comparison to the much more expensive primary system. Yes, the music is not coming from totally black background (Yamaha vs SME tables), but the overall sonic signature Chinook + Hana ML vs Manley Steelhead + Hana Red is similar. Hana ML is an amazing cartridge for the money – detailed, fast, good tracker with great channels separation. Chinook Special Edition MKII phono stage is an outstanding phono stage for the money, closely resembling the 3 times more expensive Manley Steelhead. MKII option +65Db is especially useful for low output MC cartridges – and it’s deadly quiet! No typical tube sound here – details, dynamics, low noise and just a little bit of nice warm are all there. With Hana ML and Chinook, the soundstage is wide and three dimensional, with the instruments positions firmly defineded in the space. Amazing combination! What distinguishes Upscale Audio from other dealers I happen to work with is their consultant’s attention to customer’s needs, I had never experienced any attempts to upsell - just a list of the possible options in my price range. “Our rental was at the Westshire lodge #006. This trip went from optimistically good to very bad to great. Initially my review went from 5 stars to 1 stars. The reason being was because there was an issue with the septic tank. Mind you that we were only aware of this issue a few days before our booking. After waiting for the green light the day of the booking, we got the green light for our stay. The house itself was amazing. It’s literally as seen in the photos so this house will not disappoint! Unfortunately for us the septic tank no longer worked so we forced to leave the house the next day. Very inconvenient and upsetting as we had already settled in! Now the reason Why I’m giving this a 5 star rating is because of Crystal, who was amazing in handling the whole situation. For the inconvenience she provided us 2 homes to accommodate our stay within a matter of minutes. Mind you that there were 18 of us and I had family who came from out of state. She allowed us to stay in our original rental so that we could at least utilize the dock since we had brought 2 skis with us. Even though the 2 houses were on the opposite site of each other and did not compare to our original home, it did provide us a bed and a table to eat. Overall my family and I still enjoyed our stay at Donnor lake even with everything that was going on Crystal was professional and amazing throughout the whole process and my family and I will definitely be back in the near future.”

“When I was living in the Bay Area around 2011, I was referred to Dr Severance by a friend of mine who saw him for MAT (OUD). Several years later in 2016, I recommended him to my boyfriend who needed help with OUD and he also became a patient of Dr Severance. His office staff is organized about appointments, cancellations, etc and can get you into an appointment in a few days, which a lot of places will not or cannot do. For real if needed, they will fit you in however they can so you get in there as quickly as possible. The cost is average/reasonable given the demographics of the area. Dr Severance himself is one of the most respectful, calm, peaceful, non-judgmental, and thorough doctors I have ever met. He is sincere and compassionate; I never felt like I was "less than" or a "waste of his time"(have felt that way too many times with too many clinicians). He actually took the time to listen and made sure everything he talked to us about was understood correctly (examples: how to use prescribed medication[s], what to do if _____ happens, side effects, support groups and community resources). He would spend an hour or more with me and my boyfriend at each appointment if needed. He made a difficult process a lot easier and more comfortable. The way he talked to both my and my BF was always with genuine concern, I feel like he wants his patients to succeed and get better. He did not shame or reprimand or talk down us. Too many doctors I have had are really condescending and I hate it. Example: Dr Severance would ask "what worked well for you about previous treatment?" versus "why did you fail at treatment before?" or say something like "i see from your UA you are having trouble, would you like to share wants is going on so we can figure out how to help?" instead of "you failed your UA, if you don't improve, and if you don't take this seriously, you will never succeed!") Overall just a great guy. He helped me and my BF a lot and I am very grateful for it.”
