“We went the new Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store on November 23 (Black Friday sales). The store has more fantastic items on that day than the other store in Castle Rock where we shopped earlier on Black Friday. The checkout line was really long at the Thornton store, much longer than Castle Rock store I shopped earlier on the same day. I had to put the two items back and gave up them and left the store because of the long checkout line. Love the store, the fantastic sales but the only compliant was the long checkout line, which made me give up the items I was going to purchase on the day.”

“Excellent store, conveniently attached to Carter’s! I arrived on a Saturday afternoon in December during some ongoing Black Friday sales and found the store very well neat, organized, and clean. While I was shopping, very attentive staff were frequently refolding clothes and restocking misplaced items. I was able to talk directly to an employee about any concerns I had and was given assistance when I needed help carrying my 7 bags of kids and baby clothes to my car. I was also able to easily order out of stock sizes and had the option to ship them to my home, but I chose the store because of how nice it is and I hope it will have more fun clothing choices when I come back in a few weeks to pick up my order. I also highly applaud the cashier Jessica and the assistant she had working with her as they were very patient with my large purchase and made my day go very smoothly.”

“Unusual trail. Don't think anyone knows it's here. Parking at 56th and Buckley Rd. Walk North on a permanently closed portion of Buckley about a half mile to where the trail is on the left. Winds through prarie on what is apparently the eastern most portion of Rocky Mountain Arsenal wildlife refuge, though not fenced. There is an overlook into the fenced part of the Arsenal at the 2 mile point which has been built but perhaps never used once. A lone bison was nearby today and a pronghorn on our side of the fence, lots of prarie dogs, rabbits, and some waterfowl near the creek. We opted to walk back on the closed section of Buckley road.”
