“Great place for a drive or walk to see some wildlife. Be prepared to spend at least an hour there driving through the park, as the speed limits are low and this increases your chance to see wildlife! While we were there we saw lots of deer, gophers, and bison. We even saw one coyote. Unfortunately, the visitor center was closed due to the government shutdown, but it looks like a great place to learn a little bit more about the area.”
